⭐️Momotaro ♂(2000/7/3)
Born in Ueno Zoo on July 3, 2000.
His father is Biju and his mother is Momoko.
His father died before he was born and he grew up never knowing his father.
He came to Kyoto City Zoo in 2010 and is now a father of two sons.
⭐️Genki ♀(1986/6/24)
Born on June 24, 1986 at the Kyoto City Zoo.
Her father is Mack and her mother is Hiromi.
When she was 10 years old, she went to Ueno Zoo for breeding purposes.
But she had a bad relationship with another female gorilla, and she injured her fingers and toes with her self-mutilation and lost a lot of weight.
When she returned to her hometown of Kyoto City Zoo, she was fine, and she lived with various male gorillas.
Then she met Momotaro and she gave birth to two lovely sons whom she lovingly raised.
Genki has a cute face with shining eyes.
⭐️Gentaro ♂(2011/12/21))
Gentaro was born at the Kyoto City zoo on Dec.21,2011,as Momotaro and Genki's first son.
Unfortunately Genki didn't have enough milk,so he was nursed by keepers for his first 10.5 months.
Now he loves his mom,and his face really looks like her.
He also loves people .
He is very close with his younger brother Kintaro and they play together almost every day.
⭐️Kintaro ♂(2018/12/19)
Kintaro was born at Kyoto City Zoo on Dec.19,2018.
He has big bright eyes and long eyebrows.
He is growing fine ,being loved by his parents and brother.

I haven't seen this family in a long time. I am shocked at how big and muscular Gentaro is now but with the same sweet face. It's funny seeing such a big gorilla sucking on his finger. I really hoped that they had moved him by now. I know the options are limited but he deserves to be able to start a family of his own. Plus, I'm not a huge fan of the accommodations in this particular zoo. I AM a huge fan of the lovely zoo keeper who treats this family with so much love & kindness. She seems to have a beautiful soul!

Why does momo keep chasing gentaro from the room? Is this what he would do if they were in the wild, like instinctive behavior to get him to leave and form his own troop due to his age or doesn't he like him anymore.
I think he’s already be gone and forming his troop but the zoo is suppose to be having a place for gentro but taking forever. They knew this day would come, don’t understand why they didn’t start it sooner

@@bigboytoyz541I don't think sticking him in with Momo is the answer. Momo has always been food aggressive. Kintaro has, on numerous occasions, stolen food from Genki. I don't think he is suffering. He looks quite chubby, so he certainly isn't starving. No, putting him in with his father isn't the answer --- in my opinion.
@@jossetteking4967 when kintaro and genki are in the little room, they leave the door open enough he can get out. And believe it or not, when kintaro goes in the room with his father, momo doesn't mess with him at all. Genki is more food aggressive than momo, she was biting kintaro last year over food, which momo has never done. Momo isn't food aggressive, he is just the silverback, he is supposed to have first choice of food and everything.
The room where Momotaro and Gentaro and Genki eat dinner changes every week. And Kintaro can freely go to Momotaro's room and Genki's room.😉
