TERRIFYING to me thinking of calling up the victor in a successful rape conviction. I would assume somewhere in the process their identity would be protected info I wasn't allowed to know/publish. So it's a very helpful thing he did letting the world know, hey, they can speak for themselves.

It's important that people get the whole story about Masterson. Most of the guys that are defending him, because no women are, are thinking these women just recently reported these assaults from years ago. They don't bother to listen to the bigger story that Scientology protected Masterson and basically abused these women for years.

@@J8726it’s easy to say, there’s no evidence and defend him or simply not believe the situation as a spectator from the outside with no clear view on what took place in the courtroom. And so far a few people who were there including Aaron have mentioned enough bits from the case to paint a clear guilty verdict. If I slept with your wife and she enjoyed the hell out of it and then you saw me leave your house one day naked and walked my ass home. The only evidence you personally would have is what you witnessed. If confronted your wife in the bedroom you found her naked and sweaty in that I just left and she said, “prove it” and you took the matter to court to warrant a divorce and protect your financially situation… and the court said prove it and all you had was your story and no actual evidence… does that mean it didn’t happen? lol…. No. You would have a chance to explain what you saw and went through. The jury can then base your comments and detailed information you provided and judge me and my story and can, it most cases… come up with what might have actually happened. Especially if your wife has cheated in the past and I have slept with other peoples wives in the past and those victims come to your side also revealing their experiences. After months of this the jury starts to discover who I am and who your wife is while understanding I have her and I have history of committing these acts with other people. Now if you have character witnesses defending you as a person and exes defending you. The jury gets a much clearer picture and it’s not longer about needing evidence to prove facts but to base the verdict the most likely situation based off behavior patterns. My example is a fraction of with this court went through before calling out the verdict. In went much deeper and they investigated all angles. They proved Scientology provided a major role in silencing the current and past victims. There’s proof people knew about it when it happened and it’s not just something made up recently. There’s proof there’s multiple victims with similar stories. The odds of him being innocent are nearly nonexistent. And by the extremely rare chance he was… he most definitely wasn’t innocent in the other cases. This is why people who aren’t on the jury, in the courtroom or involved at all in such cases should really state their uneducated opinion on the matter. Because if you knew even 10% how the justice department work it would hard to simply state, “I need evidence”. Because there was tons of it, there were multiple victims who wouldn’t gain anything by coming forward due to the time expiring. They caught him lying nearly on all accounts of his activity and where abouts during said accusations. There were reports made to Scientologist when it occurred, years ago. They’re proof those in that religion can’t go to the authorities and must follow their steps within the church. There’s proof these victims were punished within the church for coming forward. There’s proof these victims were harassed for years about this particular situation and heavily spied on by the church. That’s a lot of weird behavior for something you don’t believe didn’t happen because it’s hard to prove a rape occurred years laters. So perhaps brush up on the case and then decide if a convicted rapist is guilty or not.

You did a great job of advocating for victims of abuse, by cult members and/or leaders! I have worked as an advocate for survivors of SA and domestic violence sand in systems advocacy. You clearly are not just an ally, but a true leader in these movements, through your accurate and respectful journalistic contribution. You are raising so much awareness and support, in how you cover these issues, as well as validating and supporting survivors of SA, cult and/or abuse by religious leaders. Thank you, so much, for vouching for survivors of these crimes and the reality of these atrocities.It inspires me to keep going forward with my work and studies, to hear you speaking the truth, however controversial it may be!

One thing I wish would have been pointed out - Ashton and Mila DID NOT apologize about the character letters. Nope. They said the letters weren't written to question the validity of the judge or jury. They did not mention that they weren't written to discredit the victims!! In other statements, they go out of their way to talk about how Masterson was so against drugs while also implying that the women had a history of drug use - i.e. "They were just drunk druggies, so who cares if they got r*ped? Hey Aaron, this is my first comment here. I only started watching the channel a few weeks ago, starting from the viewpoint that Scientology was some weird cult, ripping people off because 'aliens'. I've then moved through shock at just how rotten the whole swamp is, and now feel quite excited that I'm witnessing something huge. Also props for taking the shit from people concerned over the political leanings of the show you appeared on - hopefully you get the opportunity to appear on shows on the other side of the political divide, not only to show the people offering you criticism that you're apolitical yourself, but also to get the information out to people who won't watch this show because it has a political bias with which they disagree.
