- All currently available medications for schizophrenia derive their efficacy from blockade of dopaminergic receptors, a mechanism of action that leaves many symptoms unresolved and is associated with a significant side effect burden. Here, the experts briefly discuss the challenge of treating schizophrenia with the current medications and explore 4 new drugs (ulotaront, KarXT, CVL-231, and pimavanserin) that approach treatment of schizophrenia using different neural pathways.

This is really sad it seems in effect the drugs don't work...but the new drugs seem promising...as well brain plasticity stressors family and life situation drug marijuana also effect psychosis schizophrenia..it seems these areas also need new strategies of understanding

2025. February 2024 they just complete study. And bad news it is not going to be 1st option for doctors to prescribe. Maybe adjunctive but not monotheraphy

sorry to say this ur observations on this subject is wrong.
if I get the money I wanna do bone marrow transplant for my brother.. because I believe that will get rid of his schizophrenia.. I believe the DNA carries the disease.. and also the gut.. sthg that am working on recently. love you all and goodluck in researching :)
Closapin is an effective medicine dear. Try it to your brother
