Veneering signature is an appropriate term I think. Love this concept, really well done on the ascetics on these little things, very LS5/a but this is a good thing.
How exciting! All the very best with your HA series Matt. I have a pair of Harbeth 11 ohm LS35As, and one aspect of the history of these loudspeakers was that they were available in Chartwell Project Symphony kit form in the early days. Many of these loudspeaker kits were built with care and performed as well as other LS35A licensed brands. The idea of an HA 3/5 component kit to home-construct and finish is quite appealing. This would take your construction and veneering costs out of your overhead. Is this a product initiative you would ever consider?
@@bicyclechain Thanks for the message. When I first started talking about this many people asked if it would be a kit. Unfortunately at this point I will only be offering completed speakers. I am thinking of releasing a few kits though next year for a 3way and 2way.
The breed seems to be being refined, your speakers are inspired by 'traditional' BBC type heritage but not restricted to trying to be exact replicas. I am unlikely to be able to afford any more new speakers in my lifetime - but (if I could) from your projected range would probably think the 5s or 6s would best suit my room. Having said that, the lure of a modern equivalent of a BC1 would I'm sure appeal to many audiophiles.
Very interesting, Matt. I have a few comments - it's very nice to see a new manufacturer of the LS 3/5 inspired design! I think your customers might be interested in stand recommendations or optionally being able to get stands with the speakers. The veneered back is a nice touch and increases WAF (Wife Acceptance Factor) IMHO. Is one of your USPs using high quality crossover components? If so, please mention it - it's surprising how many relatively expensive speakers have really cheap crossovers whose transparency can be improved by better components. I'm looking forward to seeing the finished article with black front, oiled or varnished veneer! I wish you all the best! Rob in Switzerland

I have to turn the volume up way way highand then if I forget and go to somebody else’s video nearly blown my TV up get a damn cavalier microphone for God sake please for someone who does a video on audio quality speakers get better audio quality on your Vids
Can I suggest something an not as a gimmick but as a bespoke service that would be quite unique, it was something I was thinking about recently because many guys into good hifi are usually of a certain age range. The suggestion is a customer has the option of sending you his personal audiology test results and after a telephone discussion with you about his taste and what he finds lacking in products today, tailor the frequency response to that persons audiogram response. Might be talking rubbish but how bespoke is that for a bespoke manufacture
That's a very interesting suggestion. When I was initially designing the crossovers for the HA3/6 I got to a point where the almost finished speakers had some switches on the back. They switched different roll off slopes and attenuation. I then went through a process of getting other people to listen and decided what they preferred. That feature 'might' stay as you could tailor certain attributes. Some like a brighter Speaker that others. Some prefer something more laid back. Others like more High frequency etc. Great suggestion ❤
RELEASE VIDEO OUT IN THE NEXT WEEK OR SO. WILL BE AVAILABLE FROM THEN ON. ❤
Nice touch veneering the rear panel, adds a touch of class to the cabinet👍👍
Yes, the cabinets are really good 🎉
Good luck, I really wish you all the best.
Great news about someone on you tube for a review always great to have other inputs they do look great quality as always 👌
Nice work Matt. Good luck with it.

Nicely done Matt! 👍
You should do a transmission line design too, a la TDL/IMF. That would be awesome !!
Please let us know when they will be commercially available. Thanks!

@@kjbunnyboiler Good evening
Aye new seat Matt 😂.
Matt it would good to see a real wood veneer front panel.
@@user-thegoods71 The sprayed ply has become my signature finish but a veneered front would be no problem and an option to purchasers

Maybe it's your ears I don't have a problem
Considering the sound quality of your speakers and the quality of the materials used price is very low.
