Was happy to see you find at least some gold! We live in an off-grid house at 3000 ft (914m) altitude in the high desert in California - very hot in the summer but bitterly cold in the winter. The weather can present serious challenges to both humans and wildlife here! It appears that you endure even more extreme temperatures at your new house. My highest respect for the gracious way you deal with your environment - and for the caring way you treat both your pets and the local wildlife!

    13:17 Crested Pigeon (pretty sure)
13:29 Mix of what look like Finches and Sparrows
15:07 Cockatiel on left (Weero, Quarrion)
    15:09 Australian Ringneck (28 Parrot)
    15:19 Zebra Finch
15:48 Western Yellow Robin (guess here, color is closer to the Black Throated Warbler but this is nowhere near where they are normally seen)

Because of your care for the wildlife I can see great rewards in your prospecting endeavors. Also I can see great demand for your rocks or mineral finds, put them on-line and you will be surprised because we all like a piece of Australia. Our tiny birds here in northern Canada can always get a good meal at my feeders.

Sad to see the small birds suffering. When I was camping out I saved many of them but also saw hundreds of them dead and dying in an old water well; they fly down into the well then get wet and cannot get out again. Others standing on the dead ones. A tragedy. 😢

I'm A blacksmith and really want to do a smelt in the same way that they did in the Iron age (A bloomery smelt). They still do this kind of smelt in Africa and other parts of the world, but I've never seen Iron stone as good a quality as that. Its magnificent.
