Hi Chase and Aimee! Hope you all are both well. I looooove yalls work and have been following for a very long time! The Pecos Strain was so coool! Some of them just had giant spots on the back and some of them had almost no spots. Always fun to get back and chase after those types of species! Appreciate your kind words! Y’all take care and God bless y’all!
@@CalledCollectiveMedia Thanks for all the support! Yeah they are so cool and so different looking from normal Rio Grande strain. Some of those really sparsely spotted ones y'all got almost started to look like Paiute cutts!! Keep at it, we're digging the videos!!
I remember chasing native RGC a few years back. Some of those NM creeks are sooo hard to fish with all the shrubs and trees trying to choke them out. Love the videos, keep at it! I’m all about new species and new locations. I’m not much of a filmmaker though, I’ll leave that to you, Scottie and Toghtloops. Can’t wait for your future trout and destinations!
Hahaha I am just honored to be put into the same sentence as those good folks. They are legends!! Thanks for the kind words friend, and hope catch you on the water sometime! Cheers🤘🤘🤘
Pecos Wilderness is literally my backyard. Been backpacking/hunting on those tribs many times. You guys have some serious video skills. Glad to find you on the tube
One of the best videos I’ve ever seen on RUclips legitimately. Beautiful fish and beautiful video. But most of all beautiful message. “Pursue the creator not the creation” is inspiring. Thank you so much for sharing this. Please keep it up.
What a backdrop New Mexico is! Y’all this video was so good, really appreciate you taking us along for the ride. Targeting small fish in the desert looks quite rewarding! Y’all need to do a camping rig walk around too
What’s up brother! Thanks so much for the kind words! I really appreciate it! We a lot of fun with this one and New Mexico was beautiful! That is a good idea to do a little rig tour! I hope you and Lisa are doing well!
Awesome to find fellow Christ followers who love fly fishing! Matthew 4:19 is the best adventure I've found yet. Awesome video. Thanks for sharing. Hoping I can find some Gila and Rio cuts too!
That is an Abel fly box from back in the day when I worked as an engineer for them. I am not sure if they still sell them or not! Thank you for your kind words friend!
what creeks/ rivers were you guys fishing? Also how do you find all your fishing spots and hikes bc I live in NM and I struggle to find good hikes and backpacking areas besides the very popular ones.
the pecos river get off the Glorieta exit head towards pecos town make a left on main street stay on that road you will see monastery lake thats a good spot after that stay on the same road it will take past Mora along the way you will see plenty of campgrounds to park and walk
Now I know why I don't watch your videos. You're were all good, until you bring your beliefs into it. Unsubscribed.. you had me till you started with the lord stuff. Just fish. That's it.
@@jerimiahwalters9897 totally respect it brother, but I cannot just fish. Not what I am called to do. But there are some seriously great people out there that just do the fishing thing and I highly recommend! Appreciate the input and wish you the best brother 🫡🤘
Nice job guys! How cool are those Pecos strain cutts!?
