I remember downloading this shortly after it came out. It felt like a subversive act to possess a copy of the album after EMI said I shouldn't be able to. Around the same time was the Jay Z/Linkin Park mashup Collision Course which I also really enjoyed. I still hear the Encore/Numb song off that EP being played on the radio today. After this I got into Girl Talk and loved his take on mashups, particularly his Feed The Animals album from 2008.
Mash up wasn’t even a thing. He was brilliant. I didn’t even know he was the same danger mouse who became a producer. I just figured it was a dj who got sued along with everyone lars ulrich was pissed at
Hey beautiful,,, I just popped on to complement your incredible eyebrows they’re ENCHANTING then I noticed how well you spoke and sincerely so please don’t take any offense 😅😁 amazing album
I'd throw Pet Sounds In The Key Of Dee as another good mashup example of two artists put together, J Dilla beats with Pet Sounds songs. and if you want to find the most insanely inspired and vast mashup albums, go to anything by Girl Talk
The Grey Album will always be a favorite of mine from the 2000s and the era of downloading pirated music. If you’re into mashups there’s a 50 Cent In Da Club and NIN Closer out there that’s insane.
Why is McCartney even on the thumbnail when Danger Mouse only used 3 McCartney songs of the 13 on the album? There are more Harrison songs than McCartney songs. 6 of Lennon songs are used. Lennon was the leader of the band. Lennon was the influential figure of the band. The White Album has some of the overall weakest McCartney songs in the entire The Beatles discography. Some are so mediocre that 6 or 7 McCartney songs on the double album should have been left off to make for a much better record. I get it, he’s still alive or something but c’mon.
Legend. Thank you for having me!
Thanks for collaborating! Love the parts you put together
BROKEN BELLS, with James Mercer of The Shins. FUCKING EPIC music.
This is the content I like. I would have never stumbled onto this mash up without your research. Thanks!
Thanks Joel! Glad you’re enjoying the videos

That one’s okay but the slack album (jay z/pavement) is better.
