That helps, the 'process information' sounds very ambiguous and definitly isn't clear on the ICO letter as even typing a name could be classed as processing. It even says it includes Collecting, Organising, storing, using, retrieving, erasing, disclosing. I'm clad the exemptions include advertising, marketing, public relations, accounts and records. It makes me correct in the assumption that keeping quotes and invoices doesn't require registration. (Subscribed, watched, liked and commented 🤞
