As a former bandori fan and now a prsk fan, I find it funny when people fight over bandori and prsk ver.
Personally I almost never did like the bandori ver. I know they make the song really different to fit the bands, but to me it usually sounded like something someone made on garage band on their free time, it just didn't sound quite right to me.
As for the Bad apple covers, I don't dislike the Roselia one, It's actually good, but I aboslutely love the niigo one, even tho it's really different to the original, to me it feels like they were able to properly remake the song, like it doesn't feel like just another cover, they actually made the song niigo's (ofc not literally, I've always loved the original) It's just amazing and I can't get enough of it.

I've never played bandori but I like both, of course my biased is more towards niigo (n25) because it feels like the characters fits so much with the lyrics/theme of the original song? Bad apple......apple always represented Mafuyu even before this collab, so it's perfect. The other members also fits, it's like they truly made the song theirs.

In my opinion, N25s cover is better because it feels more touching and what you said with the incorporation of every member's vocals but the bandori version is amazing too

i personally find roselia's bad apple cover to be rather empty instrumental wise??? (i mean dont get me wrong but id rather have them wait longer until ras was added and give the cover to them) and this is coming from someone who really love roselia's covers and think they could do so much better (i mean theres so many they did, older or newer that shows they can go all out on their style) and honestly the best part of it is yukina's vocals (aiai you are amazing) while for niigo i think they got the essence and nailed it perfectly the emotions and the instrumental sounds perfect and id personally choose the niigo version by a long mile.

I liked how The Bandori version sounded like a rock cover and I like rock a lot, Nightcord at 25 I also like it because In their version you actually hear emotion from their voice. Their both unique.

i didn't even listen bad apple that much until the niigo cover idk niigo just hits different... they reflected the emotions very well especially ena and mafuyu
That makes sense! N25 does feels more dynamic and emotional. Having the others contribute vocally helps out a lot!
Has a Bandori and Project sekai player I can confirm that N25’s cover is simply better 😭. Not that I’m just picking favorites or anything but-
, N25’s instrumental is amazing with the piano parts, and the nice tone of it. Also the vocals were amazing.

The master of niigo was actually very fun and i would be very happy if you played that one, expert was a bit plain and also too easy somehow

to be fair prsk got MARASY to do the instrumental for their cover. you can't compare to the touhou piano master himself... but honestly these "which one's better" debates for rhythm games is so dumb imo; esp for this song. in the end, it's bad apple. it will never NOT slap and that's facts!

Honestly I think Roselia’s solid vocals and N25’s instrumentation would work really well. N25’s vocals feel way too soft to match the heavier/energetic instruments of the song and Roselia’s doesn’t have enough instrumentation. I’d still pick N25’s cover because instrumentals does carry the song a lot.

as someone who has a psychosis level addiction to roselia, n25's is just personally better. i absolutely love yukina's voice but after the initial drum beats in the very beginning, i was kind of disappointed. n25 just takes the cake for me

I don't really like the pjsk ver since miku isn't really turned in well,don't get me wrong I really love the song but I always skip miku's line since she sounds wired in my opinion😂

Niigo ver sounds closer to the original song, albeit with a lower pitch to compensate for the human girls. Bandori has its own arrangement to coincide with the entire band setting that the series's got going on. Niigo version is also longer

to be honest for me, roselia was better (NOT BECAUSE IM AN EX PJSK PLAYER OR THAT I PREFER ROSELIA AS A BAND AND AS THEIR SONGS!!!!) the actual bad apple song wasn’t TOO crazy so roselia picked to match the og bad apple song and the actual song doesn’t have too many things going on in the song
personally i loved niigo too BUT the music video just didn’t feel like bad apple to me tbh (not like roselia had an mv but there were only mvs on og songs and the miku/vocaloid collab) the transitions looked off but bad apple made really good transitions as in adding some extra objects to incorporate their characters differently, but niigo kinda rushed it and just made a box some mannequin looking thing and made their characters appear out of nowhere, what i don’t like most is that niigo added way too much in the instrumental and added way too many background noises so it makes itself look more special and original for the pjsk fans to prefer, i also feel like they just picked random sounds and put it in the niigo song

Well said! Sometimes simple is better and that’s why I like Roselia’s cover. And I did notice that about the video. It’s not as fluid and they might have tried to include too many elements. At the end of the day, I hope that the video helps convince more people to give bandori a chance and vice versa!

As a Bandori fan, I like Proseka's instrument better than Bandori's ver. But for vocal, of course Bandori way better. I can feel the emotion from Yukina's vocal. When Proseka did good job at their instrument, I just don't like how they change the key of this song, like come on... This is not even that high, Proseka sure love to lower their key 😑

As someone who had a huge 2hu phase during my teen years these covers are disappointing to what the fans made.
Listening to Roselia's for the first time I hated how they handled the guitar in the start. Listening to it now i wish they did more with the instrumentals besides the guitar.
I absolutely hated Nigo's cover first time i heard it. Ena and Miku carry this song for me as i feel everyone else was lacking vocal wise.
Listening to it now i can appreciate the instrumentals, they're real good but KanaMafuMizu's vocals just kill the song for me.

As a Roselia fan of years, unfortunately, Nightcord at 25 wins this one.
The Nightcord cover is just much better overall.
But in Roselia's defense, their cover was basically "just another random Roselia cover" while for Nightcord it was a whole crossover, so it was just much more important to them, thus more thought put into the creation of the cover.
I can see that. The game and Roselia have grown a lot since then that if given the chance, they would cook so hard on a re-cover!
