I had absolutely no idea that it rained so much over there. Having so many rainy days can be frustrating, but, please consider yourself fortunate. Here in Hawaii, it is almost always nice and sunny. However, for the past couple of years, we have been undergoing drought conditions, and a nice decent downpour or rainstorm has been all but nonexistent. You are quite fortunate to have all of that lush green vegetation. Over here, because of the drought conditions, we don't have nearly enough lush green vegetation like we sometimes do. Also, we do most of our camping down by the beach next to the ocean. In that respect, at least we can go fishing in the ocean.
Well Yoyo, like they say, persistence pays off😅! I’m impressed how you managed to find a temporary fix in that heavy rain for your damaged tent. Still, if you ask me, I’d trade that defender/tent combo for a motorized camper, life would be so much easier 🤣🤣. Thanks for sharing 🥰🥰

Yo, beautiful young lady, that tent should require 2 people to set up! Congrats on setting it up by yourself, however! 👏 As an American, I have a very different view of camping. It is much easier and more minimalistic. We set up our 1, 2, or 4 person tents in just a few minutes, and even in the rain (but NOT thunder and lightning) we will still use our time and energy to go on hikes on the trails around us. When my wife camps with us, she is more like you -- she makes excellent, more complicated meals. When it's only us guys, our meals are very simple and easy to prepare. 🙂 You work very hard to create videos for your viewers -- thank you for all your hard work!

Bonjour Yoyo, c'était une vidéo dans le style catastrophe, depuis que je regarde vos vidéos je crois que je n'ai jamais vu autant de pluies sans interruption, je me demande si votre tente est vraiment solide, peut être au début mais à force cela doit s'abîmer, il y a peut-être une faiblesse d'un composant, vous avez eu des tentes vraiment solides, dans tous les cas vous avez montré votre courage et de la ténacité cela nous vous a pas contrarié pour bien manger, vous devez être fâchée contre les escabeaux vous en prenez jamais, j'attends avec impatience votre prochaine vidéo👍👍
I just watched the video where you were cracking peanuts and walnuts in your lean-to. A suggestion is to always carry at least a small pair of multi grips with you. They're great for opening stubborn screw tops, those annoying ring-pull condiment bottles, and cracking nuts 😆I have several stashed around the house 🙂 I'm enjoying your videos, although after watching you eat the "croffles" with Nutella and berries, I'm hungry 🤤

I'm sorry you had a hard time with the tent. This happened to me too!!!! I took my husband tent camping. I was so proud of my solo camping skills that I wanted to show him. Yikes!!! My Naturehike one touch tent did the same thing your Idoogen tent did. It would not stand up. I was so embarrassed. I wanted to go home. I didn't want my husband to think I couldn't handle things. Eventually we got the tent up. When I got home I sent up the Naturehike one touch tent and with a screwdriver I tightened all the screws on the joints. Good job sticking with beating that tent!! I love your videos. You inspired me to solo tent camp.
