I traded down for Lo runes and a Mal - Fortitude and Grief for a barbarian merc. (I'm playing wolf druid, so neither Infinity nor Enigma help me much).
As a 1.13 frenzy barb determined to drop a jah to cube with jah I already got to make a cham which I've never had in twenty years to just make my doom axe a reality.. Thats some good drops in very few runs..
I’ve been playing 20 years as well and only ever found one Cham and one Zod , you’re not alone :/ . Finally finished my grail with coa last week . I’ve found 5 tyreal , 3 death webs , at least 7 griffons but never found a coa and of course is the the crappiest role it could be 😆
P7 Cows is where the rune hunt is at. I feel Chaos is great at grail items, jewelry, charms. Sometimes you get several runes per cow map + the poppables (chests).
I have a Barb character that drops Ohm runes in hell andis lair like candy. I had to run her 1300 times to get highlords and I dropped 7 Ohm runes in her lair. It was the same 2 packs of monsters spawning in basically the same spot or near by. She also dropped 2 herself
just one comment> Rune drops are not bound to magic find!!!!!! Ok thats all ^^ I do not know why so many people think they need mf for them. Chaos sanctuary has a good chance for runes because the ghost enemys do not have legs which means less base items drop from them therefore an indirect increase in rune drops. the rarity of runedrops is based on the difficulty and monsterlevel therefore itemlevel which only limits what runes can drop there is no way to increase the rarity of those runes themself. also a good place to farm runes is the sanctuary in Act 2 as ghosts there are also missing a lot of base items therefore the rune drops increase.
If you notice in the video. Its not super obvious i admit it, but ,Runs number 5,6,9,28,29,56,60,70,86,95,99,123,164,172,175,178,196,199,201,204,216,224,254,259,267,279,294 are not runes. On my paper 123 of the 142 noteworthy drops are not runes . Thats why mf
Mf comes standard into any build that isn't a true endgame lightning sorce decked out for pure damage. Most builds run enigma or a very costly tele skiller+fcr rare amulet.
@@schmoulblah Thanks ! Do you think it's better to run P7 TZ rather than p3 CS ? As i'm mainly playing with java and fohdin without infinity ? Another cruel question to me, I play SSF offline and i wonder, should I an infi in a scythe to use it on nova sorc AND possibly on a merc even if it's shitty dmg but at least I can switch it between characters ? All in all we really need the aura more than the damages.. no ?
@@Guigzibit p7 tz give each monster ( depending your level). The unleashed opportunity to drop high runes, not just champs and uniques. So yes you will be more lucky in tz, chose them super dense like all act 2 tombs ( tal rasha , stony, hall of deads , lut sewers , ancients ). Or flayer , cow , chaos ,wsk…. Tombs are my favorites. For the infinity make it usable for your chars. My mercs never do any damages. They dont have the time to kill stuffs , they are just auras providers . Hope it help !

I didnt get a cham yet in single player. Id like to make a metamorphosis for my drudru. but i got 4 this season in ladder though.

Yep mosaic is only a few countess runs away. Even on ladder i alway get my pair on day 1 . Here in single player its all about the fun of grinding 😁
