Trucking awesome show Tim 😮😅 sweet Kenworth and kit, be and awesome build when you get into it, plenty parts, your barred from the streets you got tyo much to do 😂😅 Have a great day everyday 👊🇦🇺🤝🇺🇸😎👍✌
I think this will be a good build for anyone. Also I would like to say that I'm from western Ky. and my eye doctor is in Louisville and I always make sure to visit Scale reproductions every time iI,m there. They have a very good selection of plastic kits there and their staff is very friendly.
Nice dump truck nice look in the box. but you want to talk cool I see a turnpiker Pete in your stash that has custom mirrors and bumper and rear fenders.
This is some truck Tim. Your previous build of this truck looks great!!! You do need some room if your building these kind of rigs. Glad you have an awesome hobby shop nearby. Again love the look of your model room. Please take us on a tour someday. You look well stocked. Better then some hobby shops. Thanks for sharing.
Thank you so much for the kind words Chris! That's exactly the reason I stopped building the Big Rigs, space to put them just like you said. But I'm really in the mood to get back to them so I'm going to have to figure something out. Your right, I need to do a tour of the bench area as many people have asked.
@@THROTTLEPOWER Bought a bunch of those nat. wood shelves at Michaels as they're long enuf to hold Tractor-Trailer, then get thin 1/16" glass cut (two long for front/top, two for the ends) glue them up and glass sits in routered ends of shelf.
I saw this was a re-release, this will be a cool build. Thanks for the preview. Looking forward to see you build this! We go down south on vacation every year through that area, one time I will have to check out Scale Reproductions.
Great stuff Tim I seen they had this on the Revell table at the NNL East show didn't realize it was a re-pop. May have to take your suggestion and email Revell see if they can make this a parts pack, many builds you can make with just the box. Thanks for sharing and gonna maybe try to go down to the MATS next year we will see
Thanks for the look tim they need to get new molds of newer 90’s kw’s and Pete’s I remember building this one and looking forward getting another what was in the passenger side window ?
I agree Jeff.... I don't know, it was rather odd, I assuming it was just filler plastic to help with shipping so the cab doesn't bend there. I'm hoping to get on that kit in the next couple weeks and I was going to address when I start it.
I always liked this kit! When it was reissued!! I couldn't wait to buy one! Actually I bought 2 of these. But there,s one problem, I came across on both model kit,s the hood,s are not molded correctly on both kit,s!!! the hood,s are crooked and deformed. The mold,s must have been bad or old or just not made right! I built both kit,s, they came out great!! But you have to re work the hood lot,s of fabrication to go thru!!! if you want to make the hood to actually open! I've been building model truck,s since 1970. Along with driving truck OTR.I have over 6 million miles I,ve driven and can document every mile. I become a Expert model truck Builder over the years!!! And have built over 1000 different type of kit,s in my day. If you are not a experienced, model truck builder!! I would say buy a much simpler type kit to build, like I said you have to modify the hood underneath with aluminum stripping and plastic model body filler. Sorry for the long comment!!
I love the dump box Eric, would love to see Revell offer just that. Sounds like you have built a lot of trucks. Do you still have most of your builds? And if you do, how do you display them?
I like big rigs however, there’s so much chrome and model companies still haven’t figured out how to put chrome on the screw without having to damage the piece for that reason I’m out
So glad they came back out with this Dump Truck as I've been wanting to build another one! 🙂 👍
Does it have the full sleeper in the kit?
@Jason Gregory No, thought I might see it when showing the trees Jason, but I sure didn't come across it.
Keep On Truckin'!
Oh yea!!!!
Thats a cool one
I think so too Brent!

I love when they bring the old stuff back. I wish they would re release the 1/16 kenworth rigs
Yes, that would be cool!!
Every time I look on eBay for them they are crazy expensive
@@J.Runk81 So true, just another reason I'm glad it's back out!

Love Scale Reproductions!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Nice looking dump truck. Great unboxing. I agree with you about the dump bed not being chromed. Thanks for sharing.
Cool, yea it really is a nice kit!

Nice dump truck unboxing Tim, your corner desk is getting crowded with all those semi kits.😊 Like the Turnpiker cabover.👍
Thank you David, yes, it sure is
Good eye seeing the Turnpike😊r...
@@THROTTLEPOWER I'm always on the lookout for superb kits Tim.🙂 Any chance you will build the Kyle Petty Pontiac for the NASCAR GB??

I just picked one myself, can't wait to Start it soon, can't wait to see what you do with it
Aaaaaa, very cool Steve!!!
It's going to be a tough decision to make it all new, fancy and pretty or go with a well used dirty dump truck that we normally see on the road.
Cool stuff Tim, been too long since I’ve built a big rig!
They are fun!
I just ordered this kit to build on my channel but my only complaint is the tires there are not that great so I ordered some aftermarket one's
True, for a big dump truck different tires would be better.

I've got the australian one with the trailer. Haven't built it yet.
Cool, should be a fun build.
I’m going to have to get this dump truck. But I’m thinking it needs a Peterbilt cab.
Heck yea, it would look great on a Pete!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I like big rigs however, there’s so much chrome and model companies still haven’t figured out how to put chrome on the screw without having to damage the piece for that reason I’m out
I understand Keith.
Thinking about getting 1
It's a great kit, one I think you will enjoy!
Another nice thing about this kit Thomas is you can put the Dump Box on any truck. You can never have to many Dump trucks!! 😉
Can I use this 1:25 dump body for my Ford LTL in 24 scale or it be too small?
I think it would be fine. They are all different sizes in real life.
Callie say's hi 😂🙋.
Hello Callie............... 👋
Nice kit! V8 cat?
I think so too, yes, a Cat.
👍😎🇺🇸
👍 🙂 😊 ✌ 👍
Real Dump Trucks say Brockway on the hood. Period , end of story.😊
