@@suave-rider it is a very healthy way, we have an Philips air fryer from the first day it came out approx 5 years ago, they were the first with this 'machine' it is a lot healthier than baking and cooking in oil, butter or grease...because you don't need that in an fryer. This fryer will never leave our kitchen. I am 6'3'' and weigh 72 kilo for the last 55 years....it is not what you cook , but how much you eat of it...I guess ?!

Great video Sharron and Martin. I'm amazed at what you can cook in these air friers. Didn't know you could do toasted sandwiches. They more or less pay for themselves in the money saved by not using a conventional oven etc
It's because of videos like this that you cannot currently get hold of Ninja air fryers. I have been to get the 400 or smaller 300 model but they are all sold out! Good down to earth video with some great tips.
My new air fryer has been sitting unused on my worktop for the last 6 months as I had no enthusiasm in using it that is until tonight when by chance I came across your video and WAM BAM THANK YOU BOTH for making such an easy informative video. Now I cant wait to start using my air fryer. Looking forward to seeing what goodies you have in store for us in your next video.👍
Just recently bought myself an airfryer, Cosori 3.5 litre model. Still getting to grips with cooking times, they do cook so quickly and very happy with the results so far! Well done to both of you, you're a great couple, genuinely enthusiastic about your reviews and sharing your love of "Turbo ovens" great stuff keep up the good work! Cheers Paul 😊
I have a Cosori, and love it. The one important thing I would say is that I always pull mine away from the wall, which this couple didn't do. There is so much heat coming out of the back, it could do a lot of damage to your wall or tiles. It really makes the wall hot!
I have also recently bought a Cosori air fryer, but not used, YET! I plan watch many more of thse videos! So many advantages! Of much better flavour, less energy costs, special easy to follow recipes/food ideas that one wouldn't normally think of cooking! It's so exciting, to have this new revolution in cooking!
@ajones684 Yes, I've got the Cosori 3.8 as well. Still getting to grips with it, but I'm using it more and more. There's a chart online somewhere (can't remember where, but Google will find it) that lets you convert the Fan Oven times and temps on food wrappers to Air Fryer ones. (Shorter and cooler. ) Printed it off and stuck it on my cupboard door for easy reference.
I've used my air fryer for cooking pretty much everything. It's much faster than the oven, puts out way less heat, so it's great for summer cooking, and you don't have to worry about your food sitting in fat. I have no idea how I got along without it to be honest
I just discovered them and knew very fast that i must buy one. I have it since 3 days and its more than great. Everything is 50% faster done (!!!) and as u say less heat and also less electricity needed.
I bought the larger 9.5 ltr Ninja dual tray and I love it, Best Buy I’ve ever made, it does use a lot less electric as I can monitor it on my smart meter. Thanks for the recipes, I’d never even think about cooking toasted sandwiches, will try that one. I’ve subscribed to your channel for more tips, thanks to you both x
I wanted to try roast spuds in it without the mucking about with par boiling.......so, I par boiled them as usual but did a couple of un par boiled in the draw as well ( they had a section cut out to know which one they where)............ Both turned out great, in fact I think I prefer the un par boiled...... so that's the way in future.... NO PAR BOILING.
I’ve had an air fryer stuck in a cupboard for a couple of years, unused, but use a slow cooker often. Thanks to your vid I’m now going to use the A.F. also. 🤠

@@butlersempire I don't know if there are recipe books out there for air fryers , how about making glossy pamphlets , or just black and white print what one can and can't air fry , time cooking etc and sell them as merch on your channel?
@@everylittlebreeze Even the UK recipe books are useless for me, as they expect you to cook complicated upmarket meals which I wouldn't want. I just want to know how to cook everyday meals, such as these people show you.
Great video, I've used a airfryer for about three years now, and my electricity usage has dropped a lot, because I find you can drop the temperature by around 20% that the instructions say, and reduce the cooking time by around 40%, when you add the actual power it uses is around half that of a conventional oven, so this is why one of these will save you money big time.
A little tip Sharon when using the oxo cube press it down whilst it’s in the wrapper until it’s broken up, then just snip the end and sprinkle over food, no messy fingers 😀
Hi I've had my air fryer for over 2 years and I love love it and your right it does save money on your electric which I noticed very quickly. Even converted my family to using airfryers after seeing what can be cooked in one. Love watching you two your just like my neighbours,❤️
Omg stumbled on your video by mistake. What diamonds you too are. I’ve been scared of my air fryer since buying it over a year ago. I only do chips in it. So thanks to you two I can now be a Fanny Craddock & enjoy my food. Much thanks😊
Thank you. My airfryer came with a recipe book that only had two ways of cooking chips. To see you enthusiastically cooking other things has inspired me to try other things.
Another energy saving tip: I use microwave steam bags for cooking veg, 2 minutes and it’s done (a little al dente because we don’t like it soggy) but another minute and they’re nicely soft, I precook my potatoes for around 4 minutes and then into the air fryer just to brown and crisp off. No washing up, saves money and keeps all the goodness in, win win! Great video, thanks, my air fryer was a game changer!
Great tip with the stock cube on the parboiled potatoes! Another little tip my granny used to do - put a teaspoon of bicarbonate of soda in the water when you parboil the pots - it roughs up their surface beautifully when you come to roast them (you still need to shake them up a little bit too)
My air fryer has sat in the cupboard for months and months. I'm glad I found your channel, now I'm going to leave it out on my bench top and use it for everything. May I say that you guys are such a sweet couple 💑
My Air fryer was never even opened from last January till 5 weeks ago, after using it i love it one problem with mine, which i got in Aldi last year The temp is shitty all it does is you turn the knob from 1 to 4 , that is it and it cost $159.00 Australian , timer is not much better , but it is worth having one De Longhi is the one i bought.
I have considered an air fryer for a while now, but thought it was just a gimmick that I'd end up never using....but your down to earth display of its abilities has really changed my mind and I love your enthusiastic presenting......I bet Sunday lunch round your house is fantastic....and every other day too, for that matter!!! (ps...it was that crackling that swung it for me!)
Brilliant already and I'm only 3 mins in! Been looking for an air fryer but overwhelmed with the info online, not knowing which one would suit my family. It's great to see you using it at home, meals that I would cook and your demonstration is excellent, much clearer now.....I'm off to buy an air fryer!
Nice to see ordinary people giving an honest opinion. I found my air cooker in a skip in LUTON UK 🇬🇧..A PHILIPS XL..BRAND NEW COST OVER £300.. NOW I DONT USE ANYTHING ELSE..FANTASTIC BIT OF KIT..
100% agree ... we are on our 3rd air fryer ... we used the first 2 so much they went to air fryer heaven ... the only issue has been the non stick coating peeling off after a while but I guess that depends on which one you buy ... great videos ... thanks
@@UnseenSpirit ok so we are in South Africa so brands are different ... the first one was a "Platinum" brand from a supermarket chain ... the second one was a "Swan" brand from Makro which is like wallmart /aldi / lidl etc and the current one is a glass bowl type by "Westpoint" .... the first two lasted around 4 years each but we used them almost daily so they really were worth the investment ....
These two ar the best cooking presenter's I have ever come across, I will def but a one at weekend and better still they have convinced the Mrs that we need one!
I am Canadian and purchased an “air fryer” back in early spring 2022. We really enjoyed exploring what we can cook in it over this summer. It cooks most all things faster, juicey and through out the summer we cooked without any added heat in the kitchen or house. It was very neat! We were very pleased with this little appliance. Then we got our end of summer power bill, and it was down 33% over summer2021. The only difference we could attribute the decrease to was our little air fryer oven. It is just my husband and I and we have just a single little oven, not the larger two sided oven shown in this video. The smaller oven coo is enough portions for the two of us. It works beautifully. We were thinking of buying a much larger little oven/ air fryer, but after reading the reviews the larger cubic size of the countertop oven is not nearly as satisfying to use( the cooked result) or is not as efficient. Just what we read. We are certainly pleased with our just right size air fryer , for us. Ours is called Chefman version.
Where did you get your little air fryer from, I can only find huge ones, which I don’t want and thought they didn’t do little ones until I saw your comment - would love to know where you get a little one from - thanks 🙏🏽
@@jeanwhite2705 hi Jean, thank you, I’m going to a little shopping centre place today so I’m going to have a look for one today, now I know they’re out there ☺️ I don’t go to the shops very often but I’m looking forward to my trip out there today 😊 happy cooking 🧑🍳
Bought this model of air fryer last week (was a real challenge as out of stock everywhere). My decision was based on watching your videos and the enthusiasm you have for using it. Love your content, keep up the great work folks!
Thank you. I brought one like that 2 years ago. It's still in the box. Rose and hubby have just given me the confidence to give it a try. Was gonna give it away. I hope you do a series, thank you.
A good informative and entertaining video. My5.5 ltr Cosori was delivered last Friday and so far I've cooked a whole chicken, sausages, roast taters, some fish cakes, and I'm now a turbo-oven convert. I bought it mainly to save the spondulics, and I can well see that it will indeed do that over the course of a year. I'm tempted to fry a couple of eggs in it, but haven't summoned up the courage yet :)
Been watching your videos for the last 3 months you have given me lots of tips so what ever U TUBE has said to you ignore it do not get upset you do a great jobxx
I bought mine after your first review and have to say it's the best thing we've done, one thing I would say to anyone thinking of buying one of these is definitely get the two tray, you will find it must better than the single
Just received my single drawer Ninja after watching your videos! Absolutely love it, it’ll definitely be a game changer when it comes to cooking and saving electricity & gas. Looking forward to your other videos on this. Cheers both!
Absolutely agree with everyone’s comments, what a lovely couple, fun watching Martin eat that fantastic crackling, I was so jealous, my Ninjas in my loft as I’ve only used it twice, it will be coming back down tonight. Can’t wait to see what you cook next, well done 👍
Just found this video. I have a camping gas cooker but I would recommend you use a steamer for your veg as it retains all the goodness as opposed to boiling. Great video.
What a great find this channel was. Down to earth people who get on with the job and no messing! They don't go all around the houses like most of them do they just demonstrate so well with a touch of humour I am looking forward to more of their videos
I have a basic air fryer that the kids gave me for a birthday present. Not used it much 'till the energy crisis hit home. Agree it's not a 'fryer', but a really good mini turbo oven. Love your ideas of things to use it for - new world. Enormous fun experimenting. What a blast!
I bought mine 2 week ago and I just love cook eggs, Italian sausage ,pork chops almost everything and easy to clean .Nice video thanks .Ho i just love the crust on the ham
I thought the Ninja air fryer (I have the AF161 XL model) was a gimmick. It's amazing. Fish comes out wonderful and quick. Meats the same. The bonus is it doesn't heat up the house (I live in S. Florida so this time of year it's 90-100+ outside and worse during hurricanes even with a generator you may not have A/C). I also have their Instant Pot which is also excellent.
i've been umming and ahing about getting an air fryer and this has sold me. best overview of what you can do and more importantly produce; excellent, thank you.
Bloody hell, this is EXCELLENT review and explanation. Was wondering about the vent and discolouration or heat on the wall behind. THANK YOU VERY MUCH BOTH OF YOU TWO LOVELIES.

I welcome you with open arms. ☺ I will now use my air fryer with confidence. Thank you I hope we see you again.
Hope you enjoy
Great video, I've used a airfryer for about three years now, and my electricity usage has dropped a lot, because I find you can drop the temperature by around 20% that the instructions say, and reduce the cooking time by around 40%, when you add the actual power it uses is around half that of a conventional oven, so this is why one of these will save you money big time.
A little tip Sharon when using the oxo cube press it down whilst it’s in the wrapper until it’s broken up, then just snip the end and sprinkle over food, no messy fingers 😀
We showed that in one of our other videos
Hi I've had my air fryer for over 2 years and I love love it and your right it does save money on your electric which I noticed very quickly. Even converted my family to using airfryers after seeing what can be cooked in one. Love watching you two your just like my neighbours,❤️
Teflon ?
Yes it looks good and you’re right, money is saved
Omg stumbled on your video by mistake. What diamonds you too are. I’ve been scared of my air fryer since buying it over a year ago. I only do chips in it. So thanks to you two I can now be a Fanny Craddock & enjoy my food. Much thanks😊
Thank you. My airfryer came with a recipe book that only had two ways of cooking chips. To see you enthusiastically cooking other things has inspired me to try other things.
Hope you enjoy
WE enjoyed your culinary roadtrip....mouthwatering, keep this no nonsense show going, cheers
Thanks for watching, glad you liked the video, great tips too Rhondda.
No washing up 😮 your food must taste disgusting if you’re not washing your pots 😢

Don’t the steam bags melt in the air fryer?
nothing gets dirty if you use steam bags@@autumn5852
Me and the wife love your channel it's good fun.
Cheers from Canada
Great tip with the stock cube on the parboiled potatoes! Another little tip my granny used to do - put a teaspoon of bicarbonate of soda in the water when you parboil the pots - it roughs up their surface beautifully when you come to roast them (you still need to shake them up a little bit too)
My air fryer has sat in the cupboard for months and months. I'm glad I found your channel, now I'm going to leave it out on my bench top and use it for everything. May I say that you guys are such a sweet couple 💑
Thank you so much.
(ps...it was that crackling that swung it for me!)
same here Martyn, the Crackling.
If you get one, you’ll use it everyday
thought it was a dumb gimmick, then I got one.
I literally cant imagine not having one now
I’m thinking I need an air fryer, I’m practically drooling over that toastie, oooh and the fries 😋
Great video. I love my air fryer. I waited a while to get one but so glad I did. So quick and easy.

My air fryer is a godsend - it will never leave my kitchen!!
Glad it was helpful!

bloody great video normal people giving great advice ....im subscibing
Nice to see ordinary people giving an honest opinion. I found my air cooker in a skip in LUTON UK 🇬🇧..A PHILIPS XL..BRAND NEW COST OVER £300.. NOW I DONT USE ANYTHING ELSE..FANTASTIC BIT OF KIT..
Nice one!
We absolutely love you both in Adelaide South Australia, haven't used my large oven for 6 years, best appliance ever, keep up the good ideas.
Great to hear Patricia.

Agree with energy bill..mine is down a lot.Gas cooker hardly use now(oven)
100% agree ... we are on our 3rd air fryer ... we used the first 2 so much they went to air fryer heaven ... the only issue has been the non stick coating peeling off after a while but I guess that depends on which one you buy ... great videos ... thanks
How long did your Air fryer last and what model? Thanks
I suppose if you use baking paper with holes in it, the non stick coating will last longer without peeling?
@@UnseenSpirit ok so we are in South Africa so brands are different ... the first one was a "Platinum" brand from a supermarket chain ... the second one was a "Swan" brand from Makro which is like wallmart /aldi / lidl etc and the current one is a glass bowl type by "Westpoint" .... the first two lasted around 4 years each but we used them almost daily so they really were worth the investment ....
@@tonymatthew9659 hi, I've since bought a ninja air fryer grill. If it can last 4 years with everyday use then I'll be happy
That’s only Teflon. Cancer causing. Leach’s into foods. Use with caution
Sounds great Jean, thanks for the info.
Where did you get your little air fryer from, I can only find huge ones, which I don’t want and thought they didn’t do little ones until I saw your comment - would love to know where you get a little one from - thanks 🙏🏽
@@autumn5852 Hello Autumn, I found mine on Facebook market place. They said they had purchased it from a local Home hardware store.

Awesome, you two are great !
Thanks so much!
Bought this model of air fryer last week (was a real challenge as out of stock everywhere). My decision was based on watching your videos and the enthusiasm you have for using it. Love your content, keep up the great work folks!
Hope you enjoy it!

Thank you. I brought one like that 2 years ago. It's still in the box. Rose and hubby have just given me the confidence to give it a try. Was gonna give it away. I hope you do a series, thank you.
Great recipes, soo simple too. Never would have thought you could do so much.Thank you.love 🇨🇮
Two lovely people getting on together. Very accessible, informative viewing. 👍👍
Love these two, just normal people cooking great food, great job, learnt alot and was highly entertaining.
3:49 I just love their presentation. They are so sweet to each other 5:17
A good informative and entertaining video.
I appreciate that!
I bought mine after your first review and have to say it's the best thing we've done, one thing I would say to anyone thinking of buying one of these is definitely get the two tray, you will find it must better than the single
We've had an air fryer for about 5 years and that is all we use to cook now. They are great.
Just received my single drawer Ninja after watching your videos! Absolutely love it, it’ll definitely be a game changer when it comes to cooking and saving electricity & gas. Looking forward to your other videos on this. Cheers both!
Same as us Ben
Absolutely agree with everyone’s comments, what a lovely couple, fun watching Martin eat that fantastic crackling, I was so jealous, my Ninjas in my loft as I’ve only used it twice, it will be coming back down tonight. Can’t wait to see what you cook next, well done 👍
Love Martin and Baby!! Straightforward, no nonsense information. Terrific!
Just found this video. I have a camping gas cooker but I would recommend you use a steamer for your veg as it retains all the goodness as opposed to boiling. Great video.
Thanks for the tip!
thats what I do, takes about 15-20 minutes and all the goodness is retained.
What a great find this channel was. Down to earth people who get on with the job and no messing! They don't go all around the houses like most of them do they just demonstrate so well with a touch of humour I am looking forward to more of their videos
Thank you so much.
Thanks for sharing!
i've been umming and ahing about getting an air fryer and this has sold me. best overview of what you can do and more importantly produce; excellent, thank you.
Bloody hell, this is EXCELLENT review and explanation. Was wondering about the vent and discolouration or heat on the wall behind. THANK YOU VERY MUCH BOTH OF YOU TWO LOVELIES.
No problem 👍
we did find the wall behind got very wet, so we pull ours off the wall, quite a way now.
Nice honest guide, probably what 90% of people will make and want them for. Quite refreshing that you are actually trying to be helpful. I do think the grilled sandwhich should stick to a pan in 4 minutes though...😊
