... He's definitely the best guitarist for BoS! But seriously ... he IS irreplaceable -- he hasn't been around long enough to have developed (much less displayed) a complete style yet. He's still showing us what he's capable of. (Who knows what's next?!) I have the highest hopes and best wishes for him, Emma and Matt. They all seem to have their heads on straight!
That's one hell of a statement. He hits his cues rather accurately, but in no way is he "the greatest guitar player ever." what an ignorant thing to say. I personally think Tony Iommi gets that medal.
I'm not feeding you shit, I just gave an example of who currently has the lasting affect on me in my life right now, in comparison to him thinking the singer of Band of Skulls "is one of the greatest guitar players ever". My reaction was much more reasonable in thinking his comment was ridiculous compared to yours thinking that of mine.
Tony Iommi can play, sure, for Black Sabbath. But look at Vai, Satriani, Malmsteen alone; they are insane. Not to mention the super crazy guys like Guthrie Govan, Shaun Lane, Rusty Cooley... So don't feed me that shit. Back in the 70's he was memorable because he was part of a unique movement, but not now; it's time for the elite league to take over.
This is the best version of Bomb. Excellent stuff.

Im hooked. Tight sound for a live show.
In that clip you can hear few of best riffs you find, bar non. These guys are rockers. Next Muse.
Russell Marsden is one of the greatest guitar players ever on this Earth.
