As a farmer, I can only say what I know about the profit and loss in agriculture. No crop will give a steady returns in every season, for example Tomatoes and onions will go up-to Rs 100 a kilo some times but many times Farmers don't even get Rs 2 per kilo where as the growing and harvesting cost itself goes above Rs 5 per kilo. It is almost the same for all the vegetables. So to earn Rs 400 crore even from 8000 acres of land is very difficult. i. e earning Rs 5 lakhs net per acre all the time from all the crops. Is just not that easy but for me I just can't digest it to be true.
The main thing is that why you grow only and only tomatoes on 8000 acres of land you grow varieties of vegatables so when one crop is in loss then the other crop which will give you high profit can cover your tomatoes loss So be a wise farmer bro 😅

80% of the farmers can't take risks to do something new as they don't have enough money and additional knowledge other than traditional farming, farmers stay in communities and you can't be so different. Showing practical earnings and giving them financial assurance will help medium farmers to try something experimental. Seeing agriculture from a business perspective can make your decisions better. I'm in Canada I can say how lucky we are to have 4 seasons and fertile land in our country, Future farms will be aligned and automated. Cheers to all entrepreneurs and young farmers who are trying to shift the dynamics of Bharat's agriculture. I hope, I'll be doing the same in the near future. ❤🌾
