The song is a ‘heat of the moment’ song. That feeling when someone has screwed you over in some way and you’re so angry you feel like nothing is off the cards. That’s happened to everybody. I think the biggest lesson is that time heals all wounds and the things that mattered so much then, pass and don’t matter anymore. My favourite lyric is ‘won’t save you know cause we’re not friends’ for two reasons. 1- because I think it’s hilarious how often people cut you out of their life until they need something, then all of a sudden the pop back up. 2- it’s ironically incorrect for both me AViVA and the character in my book, Teddy. We always end up saving people regardless of what they’ve done to us. Love u xKito 💛🖤

Unfortunately saying that 'Time heals all wounds" Is not objectively true.... there are some people you have NO power to get away from, and you have to just toe the line with them.... or there will be consequences that make shit worse. (Honestly, it's extremely private stuff, so I'm not going to clarify more.... but there are times... when you do not have a choice.... Also, life likes to fuck some people over far more than others. Some get labeled as victims, some get praised, others just get ignored and left to die.)
Also, to the second half of your comment..... that's not a healthy belief to have either.... there are some people who have no right to be forgiven or saved. This is real life.... not everyone deserves a redemption arc.
My father sure as hell didn't. He was never around, my mom was a single mother, and my father had the gall to die in prison when I was 13. And yet, unlike the previous thing I am not going to mention.... this one is different. My father was a waste of human excrement.... and my young naive mind always believed he would make it up to me when I was older... yknow TRY to be the father I never had.
But then he died... and it was that this point that my story takes a twist.... my father dying was probably one of the most important parts of my developmental years.... for one, it taught me death was really nothing to worry about, it doesn't matter if you're old, young, kind, selfish, death is death. And it's best to just ignore it. And the other thing that happened.... is for the past decade and a half, my father was an example to me. He taught me who NOT to be. And while I'm nowhere near perfect, I'm a thousand times better than that shitstain was.
And he never got the chance to prove otherwise.
So yeah, two personal examples.... about why people are NOT entitled to being saved or redemption arcs. People should just stop being hateful, backstabbing, fakes....
Rant Over. You still make good music, even if I don't always agree with your message. But hey music is art, and that's the thing about art. Everyone perceives it differently.

So I came across this song yesterday. 2 days ago, I paid respects to an ex's mother passing. Ive got to say the first 16 seconds are on point with how that relationship was left. She apologized, and ultimately im nothing like i use to be. Forgiveness is not beyond me, but I will never forget. Ive found balance and peace and live without regret. this song is a great addition to my playlist. :)
