    So refreshing to hear a politician talk about football in a way that resonates with so many of us. Very rare to find a political candidate who comes across as human as Jeremy does. People might not rate his chances but we should enjoy having a candidate like him while it lasts. Hope those of you that can go out and vote for whoever you feel will match your belief system and lead the country in a way you want it run. Fantastic video guys. On another level its amazing to see the channel I used to work for now getting access to a future potential leader of our country for an interview. You've come a long way from when we started it all off in 2012 - very proud. Great content. RUclips done properly.

    Anyone notice how Labour supporters give all manner of reason to vote Labour yet Tory voters only seem to criticise labour and never promote their own policies and put forward why they should be elected on the basis of what they can bring to the country?

      The Happy Channel From what i've seen, all parties are like that. All they talk about is how you should stop the other parties. The parties campaigns are just smear campaigns against the others.

      @Noobs Pros I assume you're another one of them who thinks THE ONLY REASON people voted Brexit was because of immigration... That's simply a false statement- people vote conservative for a variety of other reasons including liking May! She has a lot of experience in office.
      @the happy channel, also false man I've seen a lot of even like memes on facebook that suggest Corbyn is a hero and May's a villain who supplies guns to saudi arabia etc (which is true don't get me wrong, it's just an example of many other things said to slander the tories and thus go against what you're saying).
      disclaimer: I'm not a tory I just despise fake media influencing people's judgement.

    35yrs old and I have seen a lot of election stuff, I don't recall hearing about other leaders mixing with the people like this, he will talk to absolutely anyone. If May agreed to this, she'd want a more comfy chair, both of them to be dressed up properly and everything scripted. Much rather have someone like this who cares about people in at no.10

      Drewbles I wouldn't. He may be a nice bloke but his ideas would bankrupt the country. Raising taxes to pay for them would lead to more tax avoidance by the rich (there's even a name for that principle although I can't remember it), and if we raise corporation tax then corporations can just up sticks and leave the country.

      Daniel Fordham The irony. Vuj is a staunch Leftist wannabe political activist. He was at Obama's speeches on TV and he attends rallies. He's using this platform meant for celebrating footballing to push his political ideology. There won't ever be a Tory represented on the channel. You won't ever hear positive Conservative views when they do positive things. It's a tribal atmosphere here.
      Copa90, like TV should start with, 'This is a political party advertisement of the Labour party'. Just admit the bias. Young fools buying into narratives of helping the poor and punishing he rich while Copa90 is sponsored by MasterCard and £200M dollar businesses like Europcar. They try and convince you these are despicable businesses with top 1% earners then take a pocket full of wads in their back pocket. They don't realise their own political hypocrisy. The very businesses they crucify allow them to do Away Days around the globe rather than Away Days at Stoke. The Left are economically illiterate.

      hey go fuck yourself :) no one c ares of your opinion the workers will rule

    • @ThatGuyYouKnow01
      @ThatGuyYouKnow01 7 лет назад +5

      RJG Well yes and no, see, I agree with you Vuj is a leftist, that's all fine, but where you said this a blatant advert isn't true. Neither do they "crucify" businesses. Understand that as a centrist (canadian standards with probably make me a leftist in the USA/Britain) I see both sides of the spectrum and your average leftist doesn't want to "crucify" businesses.
      Social Democracy isn't about killing businesses or ruining the economy as you imagine it to be, if you'd open your mind a bit you'd see it isn't a devil's creation. It's about giving people a chance to become richer by funding public projects, insuring everyone can feel safe, healthy, etc. You yourself have a biased view of the left.
      Also, the amount of videos supporting the right (right, not far right trump) in the media and on youtube is insane. Relax and don't watch if it makes you unhappy, personally I find it very interesting that a political party that lost almost everything is still sending their leader out to do interviews talking about football to normal people. Heartwarming to see the UK could maybe have a PM who cares, you won't see May going out talking to people..

      "I'm not economically left, not even in the slightest" - Do you remember the most recent financial crisis? It's utterly bizarre that you would advertise being a heartless tosser on the internet without having the slightest bit of self-awareness as to how your comment comes across. I encourage you to read more, mate. A lot more. No sarcasm or nastiness, because I don't know you at all, but really think about what you're saying and read more about economic policies and how they actually affect and have affected the citizens of this country (and right-wing economic policies across the world).

    • @lukejames1303
      @lukejames1303 7 лет назад +11

      Thanks for that, mate. I really appreciate your kind words, I feel like what you fail to understand that not being economically left doesn't translate into being a right winger.
      There is a place in this world for centrism that currently doesn't exist in the United Kingdom. The Conservative manifesto is a horrible document, and I say that as someone who lives in a Conservative area, and I find myself agreeing with a lot of what Corbyn and Labour have to say. As someone who aspires to go to university, the first from my family, he obviously has a visceral appeal.
      Don't confuse the fact that I don't believe in nationalisation and issuing bonds on mass as a way of helping/improving what is currently a poor situation. The NHS, social care, etc... is a mess - buy historically taxing corporations won't work because businesses stop making a profit... simply because they play the system and re-invest before the year's end.
      I'm a liberal person, Theresa May's voting record on issues such as gay marriage/rights and equalising the age of consent is abhorrent. So why don't you cut your over the top nonsense and accept the fact that you don't have to be economically left wing to be a good person.

    • @lukejames1303
      @lukejames1303 7 лет назад +3

      And with that being said, the economy is not an issue that would define my vote - I just want to live in a better, less elitist country.
      Crony capitalism is a stain on our culture, but shifting to the left isn't the answer. Well not in my opinion.

      You say this...but be honest...what about those is real disadvantageous situations. Say someone who works a single parent to 2 kids that works a zero hour contract? Someone who's basic wage has not gone up with inflation? I don't know how old you are but the last financial crisis was caused by unethical and risky trading by some idiots wearing nice suits in high rise offices. They made the mistakes but still got their millions in bonuses while the average working class citizen suffered and still are to an extent.
      I could go on forever about the injustices, but unless you are a very wealthy white male who is oxbridge educated...what can the conservatives offer you?
      So it's not as easy as just "get a job"...what if my household couldn't afford to send me to university to get the job i want?
      Look I can't complain, my father was well educated with a above average paying job. my mother is a business owner. I studied law at university and have a decent lifestyle/belongings BUT even i can see the injustices in society. I also can see things getting worse. For example I said im doing ok career/financially and even I can not afford a property. What about those who are in a worse position than me?
      Atleast Corbyn is doing something for the future of this country by offering free higher education. If you can fix the current or past..at least he is trying to save this country's future.

    Fundamentally I think Corbyn is a great person. Whilst I'm very firmly Conservative, one thing this man does which I wish my party would is he puts himself on a platform where he can communicate with the masses and does it in such a way that he can convince almost everyone he's a normal guy. Whilst his policies don't match what I believe to be the best way to create a productive and stable country, his ability to promote himself and his party is second to none.

    • @mightymuppetz
      @mightymuppetz 7 лет назад +13

      EvanHighamGray We have a Conservative voter who types eloquently and gives reason for once! I've always wanted to ask this so please answer. Why is it you will be voting Conservative in the next election? Based upon their time in government and policies mentioned within their manifesto and without mentioning Labour or Corbyn.

    • @louisallen2080
      @louisallen2080 7 лет назад

      The Happy Channel honestly i don't think people vote Conservative because they promise something ground breaking, but because instead they are a safe pair of hands. personally i think some of the smaller parties have very impressive manifestos but Id rather vote safely than vote for an arguably more impressive party, knowing that they will never win and weakening the 'safe pair of hands' against their one serious opposition party. i hope that makes sense

    • @louisallen2080
      @louisallen2080 7 лет назад +1

      The Happy Channel I know you asked not to reference Labour but really that's my reasoning. its a vote against Labour rather than a vote for Conservatives. I don't agree with Labours taxation policies and a lot of their promises will rely on getting money, likely from Taxes, and there is only one party at the moment that can realistically challenge Labour. If there were any policies that would affect me massively I might reconsider and vote for a smaller party but at the moment I see no reason to do so

      ikraamIQ Well without looking too much into it I would hope that it was a genuine mistake. Also I sadly have no evidence to suggest that any other Government would do differently

      Because Jeremy's heart is in the right place, but his brain isn't. His 'amazing policies' are amazing because they're unrealistic, and his approach to most of the current hot topics are very weak. He also treats terrorist groups with a bit too much respect. Like them or not, the Tories know what their doing and are the right people to get us through Brexit, and really, that's what we need to be focusing on.

      Wrong wrong you are grasping the concept of the fact that this manifesto will help the 4 million children in poverty thanks to the tories it will help the millions of pensioners stripped of their winter fuel allowance
      Tory policy is a ukip style brexit while letting the NHS schools and public sector wilt away YOU are categorically wrong

    • @tailsthebest1
      @tailsthebest1 7 лет назад +1

      Ahh, Classic Corbynite voter, twisting the truth about Troy policies. Firstly, the free primary school meals policy is a massive waste of money that could be spent elsewhere, children from bad backgrounds will still get free school meals, just like they do in secondary schools, not every child needs free school meal, in fact, the majority don't. Secondly, the winter fuel allowance is a similar situation, the poorest OAP will still get it, but not everyone like it is currently, I personally know someone who spends theirs on Christmas Shopping. Furthermore, in their manifesto the Tories pledged to increase the spending on the NHS and update their technology, I even read that part myself. Also, Brexit means Brexit, we need a strong leader who will not get us a shitty deal, considering how weak his stance on everything is, especially Brexit, I doubt he'll be able to pull through.
