Man 90s Chicago rap is really slept on, I remember bumping Twista, Do or Die and Crucial Conflict back in the day. They didn't have a ton of mainstream success but bet your ass people were bumping Twista and them boys on the way to parties.
We were bumping all those in NC at the time.
Shout out to Psycho Drama too, their music was 'darker' with beats and really help make the track. They don't usually get mentioned with Adrenaline Rush.

I love Twista he became one of my favorite rappers ever because of his beef with Bone I had to see what he was about I'm a die hard Bone fan but I will support Twista & Do or Die forever im just a Midwest guy that loved that speed rap
They ended that beef when Twista and bone did a track called C town

So many of the beefs stem from rumor, innuendo, lack of dialogue, jealousy and ego. Bone n Twista were often compared and fans overlapped.
This led to both sides feeling disrespected. But once they met, they realized everything was cool and squashed it.
Too often artists get defensive as if consumers don't listen to many artists when there's enough room at the table for both sides to eat comfortably
Love Twista the most but Bone Thugs is great also.

I bought this cd my senior year in high school at the mall in 97 after hearing 5 tracks and told my best friend to go get the album
His first album is almost untouchable.
As time went on he was just going for the bag otherwise his catalogue would be untouchable.
Dudes potential was almost unmatched.

My opinion/top 3 is going off catalogue, writing & skill. None of these dudes ^ are my fave either but I really fuck with Monch and Thought.
