It was a great experience to witness his Ordination when he became a priest; Father Mark was always smiling and treated everyone as they were the most important ones when he greeted them. I will truly miss this great priest who gave it his all, along with being a great friend. Be with great joy my friend in heaven, with my great desire to meet with you again in paradise.

My great desire is to meet Father Mark Beard in Paradise for the first time! You see, I only discovered him after his tragic accident. I have listened to all of his homilies at least once, and I am on the third go-round with some of them! What a joyous gift he had!

Fr. Mark will be greatly missed. Though I am a cradle Catholic, I have learned so much from listening to Fr. Mark. His homilies were great teachings. His insistence that we get to confession for the sake of our soul, I have not heard such insistence from any other priest. His enthusiasm is overflowing. Thank you, Fr. @@mommaprime4322 We are in NY. My dad lived there. I never miss going to St. Helena. Father has done an amazing job of that campus. He put in a court that is the garden of Gethsemene. All the apostles are sleeping. He hasa court with all these life size statues of the apostles. I think they each have the relic of that apostle. He has an amazing area outside explaining our jewish roots. I think it is explained in the booklet he made "Defending Mother Church". I bought the very last one. AND I lent it out. I am going there soon. I will buy many because it helps us to defend our faith! We have to have it! You will learn so much from Father Mark, with a chuckle we all need here and there! And last but most of all, THE ADORATION CHAPEL! I never miss it. I can go daily. St. Helena's in Amite La. When you see that huge beautiful statue of the Bl. Mother, that's the adoration chaple. She greets you! I can go on and on. The gift shop has books Fr. Mark recommends. I read them. HE WILL TEACH YOU! I have my sisters hooked. We look up everything he does on you tube. Can't wait to get back there. PLEASE pray for Father Mark's protection always. God Bless Fr. Mark and protect him and the same with all of you.

My parish in NH is currently without a priest - and, I pray 🙏 with all fervor that we will get a holy priest with so much as a pinhead portion of zeal and conviction as this man had? I am praying for Fr. Mark’s soul because I don’t want to hear him singing 99 bottles of beer on the wall at my bedside 😳😆. May we unite our hearts and prayers from Amite LA to Rochester NH to persevere in this world and adhere to all of Fr. Mark’s preaching. Let us not make his words be in vain. I love Fr Marks expression of "All in". I've used it myself in speaking to others about God. I learned the hard way. But at some point in life we have to "Get all in for God". At some point when the temporary happiness we experience when sinning fails to bring us the eternal happiness we seek, and when the misery that usually follows due to the effects of those sin choices leave us so empty, and so miserable and sick inside, we hopefully understand that God is inviting us to Repent and Return to God through that very sin misery. But at some point when the world fails us enough, and when the internal pain we feel hopefully we finally understand that only God can bring us the Peace, joy and true love that we seek. At some point we Have to get "All In For God" because Jesus is the "Only way, the only Truth and the only Life". All else leaves us empty. I believe the misery of sin is the very love of God inviting us to turn to Him. Sin leaves us empty every time. To be a friend of this world is to be an enemy of God, the sooner we learn this, the sooner we get all in for God, the sooner we can truly begin to learn how to love God and love our fellow man as God intended us to. Giving up sin is just the first step. Giving up sin is just the start of our relationship with God. We have to empty ourselves of sin and fill ourselves with God. It usually don't happen overnight.
