Great reaction. Yes, Bruno and the Hooligans killed it. It is really too bad that this particular video cut off the performance before the dramatic finish. Just think, especially after what you said about him being just 3 years in to his solo career, that he was really there - performing at the Super Bowl !! And at the end, he was standing on a platform all by himself in the middle of the field singing his heart out to 82,000 in the stadium and millions of people around the world. Amazing. I'd never actually heard a Bruno Mars song before this halftime show. I was an instant fan. Genuinely one of the best Superbowl halftime specials of all time. Funky as hell, super energetic. What more can you ask for in a halftime show?
Thank you for keeping us Silk Sonic/Bruno/Anderson fans engaged during their hiatus...I'm always a RED HOT CHILI PEPPER fan so this performance was perfect for me..., if Silk Sonic or Bruno go on tour, I swear I am flying in to whatever concert you are going to because I need this kind of energy at a concert.
I remember, at the time, I was salty at Bruno getting to headline his own halftime show. He was relatively new on the scene, only on his second album, less than 4 years into his music career. For him to get such a prestigious opportunity, *so young and so early,* while there were lists of top talent who had paid their dues in this business much longer than him who, respectfully, should have gotten their chance to headline before Bruno. Working in music, I remember people at the office thinking it was unfair. Most acts are many years deep into their careers before they’re asked to headline the Super Bowl. As young as Bruno was, the youngest ever Super Bowl headliner, he definitely met the moment, set a high bar, and delivered a memorable show!

Superbowl 48 and 50 are my favorite performances of all time. I think I've watched both over 20 times. While he is playing drums that platform is moving back to the main stage. The next day he celebrated by going on The Ellen Show, running up the stairs to the top and punching the air like he won a boxing match, and hugging different sections of girls standing in the audience on his way back down.

Why did you stop it before he sang "Just The Way You Are," which was after the service men/women said greetings to their families? He was on the stage all alone and he killed it.
