    I’m confused, everywhere else fiber are shown to run perpendicular to what is shown here on the anterior portion, aren’t these for external obliques?

    • @AnatomyLab
      @AnatomyLab  3 года назад +9

      i see what you are saying, the fibers are inaccurate on some parts of this muscle, because back then I did not know how to control this properly,.. I definitely will change this next time. but thank you so much for pointing this out, because sometimes I can not do something and something I just make a mistake,.. I will pin this comment so people can see your critique! thanks 🙏

    Fantastic series for anatomy refresher and work out for specific areas of your body. The 3D model is especially useful.

    This is exactly what i needed. often hard to imagine subtle differences between synergistic muscles such as rotatores and obliques. animated tutorials really help. thanks guys!

    Good Work!! I was struggling to understand the function and structure of internal obliques to add weighted exercises for my Gym. This video clarified everything. Best things was also stating the functional movements and stretches. Thanks and keep it up!

    What are antagonists to this muscle?

    • @AnatomyLab
      @AnatomyLab  2 года назад

      i d say the back extensors,..

    • @salva7449
      @salva7449 2 года назад

      @@AnatomyLab what about unilateral action?

    • @AnatomyLab
      @AnatomyLab  2 года назад

      please remember that back extensors can also work independently, meaning just one side,.. also it’s not a binary system ( like on or off) there can be different muscles working in different phases of a movement,.. If this doesn’t make sense to you, just do the movement and then do the counter movement and really feel inside your body where you feel your muscles are working and you will have an idea what the actual antagonist,… are hope this helps,..
