One of my favorite parts of traveling is visiting new airports and plane spotting from them and seeing different airlines. I live in Toronto and although it’s not too bad, we only get one A380 (Emirates). LAX is badass.
Montgomery Airport is my favorite even though I have no problem navigating at JFK🎉

Where I live in Manchester ( United Kingdom), people used to sit in a pub carpark right near the airport. The landlord got wise to this and made people pay to " plane spot". £5.00 a time each! So mean!

@@KM-mv3qr wow, sounds like a not fun landlord, Manchester airport is one airport I'll be landing in one day to visit friends (as most of them are british) the flight is definitely about 9 hours from MIA. Plane spotting is a hell of a fun and I enjoy it.

Love this. Every time I visit LA, as soon as I hop in my rental car I go to the SBUX one block up from where you were - on Sepulveda and La Tijera. It’s nice and soothing, plane-watching from that elevated porch, sipping iced coffee.

Nice! I grew up there; Westchester. We would park our cars on the landing path and watch them come in. I still remember the first time we saw a 747. None of us could understand how it stayed aloft. LOL

I remember years ago, there was a spot next to the touchdown point for 24R at LAX. I sat there for for hours after dark and count the landing lights as the came on. Always at least 12 back to back . Wonder if you can still do that
