I so agree but a word of praise also for the divine John le Measurier, the exquisite pain on his face when TT is brought up a THIRD time.Fine comedy performances altogether!
Correct, the hyphenation was for the RADA status as there waas another, earlier less well known, Terry Thomas. Same with Harry Corbett - Sooty and Sweep and Harry H Corbett Son of Steptoe.
The great Terry Thomas! Sadly in later life he developed dementia and his ending was pretty awful, but we will always remember him as the great British cad! Ready? Ready now!?
Terry-Thomas should be hyphenated. I think Hugh Laurie must have grown up watching this. I see so much of Laurie's later performance as Bertie Wooster.
Terry Thomas AND John Le Mesurier two genuinely hilarious gentlemen
The brilliant Terry Thomas, and a wonderful cast of fondly remembered British character actors 👏
This is English comedy at its highest brilliance !! Wonderful!
Nobody, but nobody can act this, only the British can, with Terry-Thomas.
I agree... EXCEPT I prefer Make Mine Mink ❤😂❤
I love Terry Thomas. He's made me laugh my whole life and I will always remember him for that and thank him.
Classic Terry Thomas.....love his facial expressions.

Seconded and thirded: always been a huge le Mesurier fan!
Great actors nothing like this exists today..Wonderful with a young Nicholas Parsons 👏
Somebody once said in a review of John le Mesurier that "he suffers well".
His looks of bored exasperation are brilliant.
Reminds me of the days when comedy was pure fun
Yes good you are not allowed to laugh today
Terry at his best, his acting experience wont be repeated again.
Great film with an incredible cast. Terry Thomas's facial expressions are hilarious even before he speaks.
Terry was an absolute gem just love him from when I was a child what a cad
Surely you mean a 'Shar?!' (Shower!)
@@georgebuller1914 Shaaaaar indeed!
Terry Thomas = Legend
The glorious Terry Thomas and adorable John LeMesurier.
Good old John le Mesurier and Terry Thomas!!
Very funny - Terry Thomas at his best!
Terry Thomas a class act
Nicholas Parsons before he achieved fame as the game show host in the TV show 'Sale Of The Century'
Terry Thomas was the greatest British cadd I can easily see him loading the household silver from a stately home into the boot of his jaaag.
Is it International Misspelled Names Day, I wonder? This splendid comedian's name is Terry-Thomas!

Adore TT. Wish I could remember what film he appeared in as a white sheikh in control of some wild Bedouins.
Great to see Sydney Taffler. Usually plays a gangster.
Terry Thomas was one of the BEST

Classic British comedy!
I loved Terry as a boy. All of his films were funny.
As a boy?!
@@mckavitt13 yes as a boy. As a boy, I watched him a lot on TV as he was one of the popular actors of the time. 1960s
The primary British punchline was the “3 days, I remember. A long weekend.” The end punchline was just to wrap up the whole charade.
I think there were two Terrys - the second Terry whose surname escapes me was the policeman. I'm sure it wasn't Mummy, Money or Bunny.
@@jeanmarshfanGreat scot yes it was Terry Scott another funny man. Thanks
That’s how they should deal with petty crime we have today. Things were so much better back then

1:15 Terry Scott? And after!
