Came across this by accident. Really prefer the older mechanical machines to the new electronic ones. I got hooked as a kid at a truck stop when an adult I was watching invited me to spring the ball. I was mesmerized as he flipped the ball against the bumpers stting off the lights and bells. Much later me and my mate played an old machine in the Students Union bar. We won so many free games we were late for lectures and got told off. Worth it though!
I have a very similar Ted Zale game from this era, Big Day. I was wondering what the point of the thumper control unit was. Glad I found this video. Hopefully I can figure out my game’s problems as well!
Hey Ron, I know it's a couple years since you did this game, but would you still happen to have the schematics where you can show and explain how that bumper control stepper works?
I don't have the schematics anymore unfortunately, but as I remember it everytime you played a game it stepped it down a position or two and everytime you bought or won a game it stepped up a position or two, can't remember the exact details but it was a really cool design! Thanks for watching Pin-monkey!
Just received this machine. It was in a house fire and the electronics was melted. I was able to savage the cabinet. Trying to make it into a virtual pin cab
I have one working Gottlieb Spring Break that i have repair and two non working Pinball Williams FIRE! and Williams Fish Tales thaht I have to repair next.....😁
Just picked up a bally trio. Have never worked on the real early Bally em machines so it’ll be fun to learn
The old pinball games were awesome

Every time I see a pinball machine it reminds me of the 1975 movie “Tommy”.
If you look close, the "Wizard" backglass is on the wall behind this machine!
Nice old Em fun to see its working, keep the good work👍
Thank you Danijel!

All three of those are pretty cool. I like about any game though...
All mechanical engineering
Yup, brilliant mechanical designs...
