Definitely start GOT. I don't watch a lot of TV but GOT and HOTD are my favorite shows. I spent a year trying to get my mother to watch GOT. She finally started last week and called me at 1 AM because she was binge watching and couldn't stop LMAO
GoT is so dang good that you might be able to finish it before HOTD starts back up. GoT will also provide context to some of the houses we’re about to see next season. I suspect that you’ll get into all the lore as well. Do it for the fans Addison!! 😂
@@godstoslaves Was trying to get my husband to watch it for the longest time too -- he was like, "I don't wanna watch that dungeons and dragons shit." 🤣🤣 finally got him to watch the first episode and he was like put the next one on right now.
Please start GOT soon I’ve been hoping you would react to it for so long. I love how you are not on any side in HOTD. I see you’re perspective there are bad sides to both it’s just a tragic no win tale
When her father tells Rhaenera she will be the heir, he talks about the dragons and says “our control of them is an illusion.” The two boys just proved that. When it counted the most, neither Jace nor Aemond had control of their dragons.
That was Lucerys and he did control his dragon. First Arrax attacked Vhagar out of fear as they were being chased by her and she is much bigger, but when Lucerys told Arrax to obey, he did obey him and flew away. While Vhagar ignored Aemonds commands completely. So it was only Aemond who didn't have control of his dragon.
You need to know that Messengers have an immunity that prevents them from being harmed that is why Lord Baratheon didn't want Aemond to start shit and Aemond was a bloody idiot thinking that Vhaegar would understand it was to scare she is a war dragon. Now he is a Kinslayer the worst thing
Aemond was chasing Luke around on his Godzilla ass dragon, maniacally laughing like an anime villain and screaming that he was going to pluck out his eye, and then was shocked when that didn't end well lmao
@edn he was just Taunting his nephew like he always do. Aemond understood the fire was the dragon being scared. He kept saying right after they got hit with fire " no vhagar, obey me" then Vhagar being a war time drago. Went in fo the kill. In the books, Alicent, otto was pissed at him. His brother was happy( he a ass).
@@keithlangreen2053 Yeah, but Aemond also showed no remorse in the book, either. I HATE the way they changed this as if Aemond had an "oopsie!" kind of moment. He may not have meant to kill Luke, but he sure as hell didn't care that he did.
I love how upset you got at Queen R, over sending her sons on those missions. I think you said those words 5 times. 😂 I really liked little Luc. It pissed me off that they killed him like that. 😑
17:45 Because it used to be like that, parents sent their children as messengers, and the one who came up with the idea was Jace and not Rhaenyra, Rhaenyra just accepted her eldest son's idea.
Right, plus when she was younger and her father just made her Heir. She wanted to send dragon riders to help the seasnake I believe for when he was loosing in the stepstones. And she was around her son's age so it probably reminds her of herself at that age too.
Lesson 1: Even though dragons can be ridden, they are never fully tamed. They have their own wit, will and personalities. Vhagar is no joke and is a force to be reckon with.
The kid dying at the end was no ones fault. Mama sent him NOT KNOWING any of this was gonna happen. No one expected OneEye to be be there. Had she known he was gonna be there I guarantee you she would have NEVER sent the young lad. King Viserys said at the beginning that them "controlling" the dragons is an ILLUSION. As in NO ONE can control a dragon. That scene was proof of that. When the smaller dragon spat fire at the larger dragon the boy did not command him to do that. The dragon was scared and being chased in the middle of a storm, he or she was terrified and defending him or herself. The Uncle's reaction on the larger dragon was clear that he DID NOT intend on that happening. His dragon had been to war before and took that as GoTime to go after the smaller dragon frfr...They no longer had ANY control. I am so here to see your reaction to Game of Thrones!! I do have one suggestion though. I know its a reaction channel and you are supposed to talk and react. But there is soooo much dialog in these shows that if you are gonna talk, which is to be expected pause the show, say what you need to say, then start the show again. Lots of times during this show reaction you were reacting while the show was going and you missed some parts that would have put some of the scenarios into perspective for you and would have explained some things for you. AnyWay, New Subscriber here can't wait to get into GOT with you!!
I have to agree. I understand that’s his style but these kinds of shows require much more attention to detail and when you talk over certain conversations, you miss tons of needed information.
Also consider that the "war" hasn't kicked off yet, right now it's all politics and who can get the other lords on their side in hopes that it's enough to get the other side to sand down without having to spill blood. There was no reason to think Luke would be in danger of being killed like that.
Viserys trusted Rhaenyra to fulfill the prophecy and she was seen to take that very seriously. Especially after losing him, she wants to honor his wishes even more. And that is to unite the kingdom against the coming darkness, not divide it. I personally don't think that's something to criticize her for. In retrospect, a lot of things could have been done differently, but at the time you just do what you think is best.
She gave birth to a half dragon, you can see the doll they used online for the scene. In the books its heavily suggested the Targaryen's did experiments trying to combine animals together. That the dragons relationship with the Targaryen's are the results of chimeras. The Targaryen's are literally part dragon. The books also heavily imply the Targaryen's are inspired by a certain Nootsie military in the 1930's. TargARYAN and their white hair, pale skin, tendency for v10lenc3. The nootsie party also did similar experiments. The Targaryen's are colonizers not from that land. In the og GOT series, you see the power vacuum left behind once they leave... just like actual history. The dragons are also a metaphor for nuci3ar w3apQns.
Luke's grandmother is a Baratheon. Sending Luke to Storm's End should have been safe and easy. The mistake was underestimating the Greens. Dragons bound with their riders for life. Once Vhagar bounded with Aemond, that was it. They didn't let him take her. Unless they killed Aemond, it was a done deal.
Here’s the thing about Rhaenyra and Daemon telling Rhaenys and Corlys the truth about Laenor. Lord Corlys would dispatch a search party to find Laenor if he knew he were alive. Laenor and Qarl left incognito, in the middle of the night, to not be found. It would breach that boundary for the two to be lusty, busty sailors in Essos.
6:15 i love how aegon had that table made BEFORE he invaded yet it has kingslanding & summerhall on it (summerhall isn't built until like 70 years AFTER the dance of dragons lol).
I love Emma D'arcy's acting so much. When Rhaenyra rips the badge off Otto and calls him a "f*cking traitor" you can FEEL the betrayal, not to say she didn't expect it, but she has known this man since she was a little girl.
Rhaenyra also raised a wholesome family. All her kids have ethics and values. Team green gives all their men a free pass. While holding Rhaenyra to a different standard.
The reason why Aemond was like oh snap when the Vhagar are Luke and Arrax is cause he thought he controlled the dragon and he realizes he didn't too late. You right he was wrong for chasing that boy. Viserys said in one of the earlier episodes that people fear them cause they believe they control dragons but it's just an illusion no one can't control a dragon and Aemond found out the hard way. I think you should watch Game of Thrones it will be more houses for you to root for and find some people that you may like, this show is basically a family beef so it's only two options ( greens or blacks) GOT has many houses.
If they were to come clean about Laenor still being alive it would also technically make their two sons [Viserys & Aegon] bastards too as since they got married whilst Laenor was alive their marriage wouldn't technically be legitimate. However, since Laenor is presumably still alive somewhere it will be interesting to see in the future seasons how his dragon [Seasmoke] is used - as the bond between rider and dragon can only be broken by death and a dragon will only accept a new rider if their previous rider has died. If someone else is able to claim his dragon, then it would mean that Laenor has died somewhere but if no-one else is able to claim the dragon then it may arouse suspicion from Rhaenys that Laenor is still alive.
I imagine they are just going to hand wave the dragon bond rule based on casting news for s2. Unless Ser Qarl comes back and says "ohh Laenor died in the fighting" maybe even bring his body back.
But dragons don’t bond every rider that tries to bond them so how would anyone know if it’s because Laenor is a live or because the dragon just doesn’t like this person
Luke was a messanger, meaning protected and could not be harmed. Aemond's evil ass was the one who started his bullshit. And this whole thing of the riders do not control the dragons is bullshit. They are telepathically connected, so Vhagar merely did was what Aemond wanted to do. Arrax did what he did out of Luke's fear being chased down by a beast 4x his size.
I think Rhaenys standing & looking straight at Rhaenyra with a grin, while everyone else bowed is one of the strongest moments in this Season. It is what her cousin Viserys wanted, & what the Realm denied her of. It’s beautiful.
Since this is based on a History book and multiple perspective are taken into account- One of them posits that Lucerys actually lived, and woke up with amnesia. According to that take, he lived the rest of his life in a small village by the water where he became a fisherman.
It was customary to send your children as emissary(messenger) when you wanted to make clear there was no threat. That's why she sent them, in good faith. That new lord Baratheon was a POS and an ignorant weakling and not his father who was an honorable man and distant kin to Rhaenyra that she knew from childhood. She hadn't seen the son in a long time. The son was not the father. He had some fault in this tragedy.
I’ve been team neither for a long time because I was still deciding. However Alicent was definitely my favourite character but the reason for her turn against Rhaenyra wasn’t compelling enough, I think they weren’t able to really dive into things because they were only limited to 10 episodes to get us to know characters, so I didn’t feel any emotional connections to characters, and there were things that could’ve been written differently in terms of the storyline and relationships (imo 🫣). I know it’s been an ongoing debate but honestly I think the only marriage that would’ve ended this was Otto’s suggestion: Aegon and Rhaenyra, but Viserys was unfortunately Viserys.
Alicent never turned on Rhaenyra thou per say, she just decided to stand w her own blood bcuz of 1) jealousy due to the fact that Rhaenyra, all of their lives, got to do w/e she wanted while Alicent was forced to do her duty tunred her into a bitter woman & 2) yrs of Otto drilling the idea that Rhaenyra would be the one to strike first and kill Alicent's children to strengthen her claim to the throne. Alicent had grown to think of Rhaenyra, by her own actions, as a selfish, self-indulgent person w no care for duty or authority and a liar. Also, she knows Daemon is a loose cannon who hates her father and "killed" Laenor... how are those not compelling enough reasons to distrust Rhaenyra?
@@_justinblizzle This explanation might be long but idk she basically did turn against Rhae out of distrust and knew that it was time to fully defend her own because she found out Rhae lied to her. I was iffy about the time skip because I just felt that her finding out Rhae lied only once wasn’t enough to really convince me, I think it would‘ve made Alicent distrust her and distance herself, and then kick off the tension, but her sudden symbolic appearance in the wedding wearing all green being cold to a concerned Rhae all of a sudden gave me whiplash I was just unmoved by it lol. I think it’d be better if they equally had a proper falling out over reoccurring tension and disagreement over politics and religion, leading to the factions fighting over influence in court whilst Viserys is turning to dust. Them setting the divide and declaring a ‘political’ war (idk if that’s the right term) when Rhae and Alicent wear both black and green like in the books would’ve definitely had more impact and set up the upcoming war. Idk I just like chaos. It’s just that there are those that felt like the ‘tension’ was one-sided and weird because they felt that Alicent was extremely too “bitter” whilst the same energy wasn’t reciprocated by Rhae, making her this innocent angel because of the way her fallout with Rhaenyra is written. It just overshadowed the fact that Rhae did do things that jeopardised her claim and her children’s lives to the point people genuinely think passing on the throne to Jacaerys would be a breeze and should just be accepted. In a societal setting there’s way more to factions than just one woman being bitter to the other over one lie. Based on on the lore that I’m aware of, I think what could’ve truly drawn the line between Rhaenyra and Alicent was their extremely different political and religious views, since House Hightower is an ancient Westerosi house and House Targaryen established themselves way later in Westeros and it’s technically a ‘young’ House compared to the other Westerosi houses. House Hightower has strong ties and history compared to House Targaryen in terms of Westerosi religion and politics. I would continue but I’m feeling lazy at the moment sorry 😭.
@@_justinblizzle Btw I agree with all of that I just wish Rhae and Alicent’s hate for each other would be a lot more chaotic than it was in the show as it didn’t really move me or convince me that Alicent would go down that route over that one thing idk how else to say it.
@@stein9432 Imo it wasn’t just “over one lie” it was, for girls in their position, the worst possible thing she could’ve done/lied about and she swore so easily on her dead mother’s grave. If she’ll do/say that, she’ll do/say anything. Alicent was a sweet summer child so to her this is a big deal. For others who are not on such a moral high ground they’d just pass it off as Rhae being a wild teenager. Let’s also not forget that Alicent was the Queen and so Rhaenyra’s lies were brazen treason lol. As far as the political/religious tensions you talk about I think it’s safe to assume that all of that was bubbling over during the 10yr time skip. Rhae’s brazen disrespect of the law, morality & religion of Westeros was clearly a constant thing. She clearly also didn’t give af (maybe bcuz she’s a Targaryen or bcuz her father was king and she was heir) yet Alicent was always held to higher standards w her scheming father always on her back and in her ear. That would breed resentment in just about anyone. I think the “and now they see you as you are” scene in ep 7 is incredibly telling of all they’ve been feeling for the last 10 yrs. I understand if all of this is just something you would’ve rather seen onscreen thou. However, I don’t want to discredit the writer’s efforts to actually give context to their relationship bcuz in the books we don’t get this background; their relationship is completely different and we basically just start the story right before the Dance kicks off.
dragon cant be stolen it was free to be claimed. they are like sentient nukes they are not passed down like family property. so aemond was not in the wrong for claiming vhagar. just like u should know the dragon daemon rides caraxes belonged to rhaenys father aemon and the dragon rhaenys rides meleys, the red queen was first ridden by daemon and viserys mom. vhagar itself was ridden by aemonds grandfather baelon targaryen before it was claimed by laena so they are claimed not inherited.
The best episode of the show! Rhaenyra is my favorite Targaryen! She lost her dad, her baby, her son, the throne her dad gave her, never wanted to fight, now she can kill anybody she wants I'm 100% behind her! 🤷🏼♀️ #TeamBlack 🖤 And what can we say about Emma D'Arcy... Wow So talented! ❤🔥🙌🏻 And it's not Rhaenyra's fault at all... Aemond is stupid! He didn't have to do that... he just started a war! That's his fault! 🙄
It is hard to watch the failed pregnancies/deliveries. It’s so strange & hard to explain, but having miscarried myself once, instead of triggering me, it helps me feel not so alone. Because this subject is not spoken of much around family & friends.
You have to stop blaming Rhaenyra for everything cause some stuff is just how it was. Messengers are not supposed to be harmed, and she didn't know Aemond would be there, she would never have sent Luke there if she knew he was there with Vhagar.
Yeah I get that part but I think the mother can get over that way quicker than thinking her daughter in law conspired to kill her son in my opinion. -Adison
Facts, I feel you! But if anybody’s decisions were to be denied I’m cool with it being the sons out of everyone involved. I think his wishes are the most selfish. That’s just how I feel right now though, it could change as more information is presented. -Adison
@@edn on that I completely agree with you, he's basically ran away to freedom at the expense of his parents heartbreak, and Rheaynyra and Daemon are left as the ones to blame. I am expecting him to make a return in the following seasons so that will be very interesting if he does! How do you explain to your parents that you thought F it to their devastation? 😬
@@DarkSister. Dude,, Rhaenyra wanted to get rid of him because she wanted to marry Daemon and let everyone believe she killed him and Daemon was the one who suggested that he could live... he wasn't really left with much of a "choice" if the choice is: go or we'll kill you.
5:47 52 houses supported Rhaenyra and installed her son Aegon III as King after Aegon II's death and 28 houses supported Aegon II until they turned against him and poisoned him.
1. you can't steal a dragon, vhagar chose aemond, if she didn't want him, she'd have killed him as which happens to many people who try to claim dragons who don't want them. 2. aemond lost a whole eye, of course he's not okay? he only said it was fine, because he had to watch as his mother was being gaslit and told to get over her son being permanently maimed, and so he told her it's okay that she can't give him justice, in the end he was a child soothing his mother because his father didn't do a damn thing to give him justice. 3. viserys said in episode 1 that dragons being controllable is an illusion, aemond was foolish and reckless to chase after luke, but he didn't mean to kill him. the dragons acted on their own. luke's dragon got scared and attacked vhagar who is a war dragon, so she attacked back and killed the dragon and luke.
Queen Rhaenyra is not a strategic thinking NOT to mention Princess Rhaenys told her they were after her and her kids. So she thought sending them on a mission unarmed without guards was smart ...who does that 😅
You bring up a good point that I've yet to hear *anyone* do so and that is the hypocrisy of Daemon & Rhaenyra being angry w Rhaenys for not roasting their enemies for them when they "killed" her son! Tf lol even I didn't think of that. Not only, like she said, is it not her war to start but why would she help them in that moment? Also, Rhaenys bows to no one, she's the 'Queen Who Never Was' remember? Technically her claim is stronger than Rhaenyra's
Actually Rhaenyra never expected anything from Rhaenys which is why she told Daemon in episode 8, they shouldn't count on her. You should know this if you watched the show. Same thing, Rhaenyra didn't blame Rhaenys in this episode, she didn't even try to convince Rhaenys to support her. So I would love to knows where did you see Rhaenyra being angry at Rhaenys...? Like please, where ? Also, Rhaenys gave up on her claim a long time ago, she's been blaming Corlys for still being power-hungry over her own claim so she really doesn't care anymore about her position. She wanted to see if Rhaenyra would be a Queen worth to fight for and apparently she is because Rhaenys completly sided with her.
@@LolLilol-uw3ou which is funny cause her reasoning is that Rhaenyra wants peace..... coming from the woman who just murdered hundreds of people.... and she wants to support the woman she thinks was responsible for her son's death.
Rhaenys is visery's cousin. Once he was picked as king her claim dropped below all of his children's and their children's claims. The secession line goes like ( viserys>Rhaenyra > her kids from oldest to youngest > aegon>his children>Aemond> any children he may have in the future> Rhaenys> her children (if you take out the bastards her children she had with Daemon would be the next in line after her and then it would go on to her brother aegon. (Daemon should technically be next in line but he got disinherited)
Why these RUclips reactors always blaming Rhaenyra like she knew what was gonna happen. She was in front of an audience when the boys asked to send the message, she couldn’t treat the future kings like little boys in front of those men.
She sent her son out there not knowing or anticipating the danger he was in. Aemon didn’t even kill his nephew on purpose, it was the carless nature in which he used a predator to scare his nephew, not realizing that the dragons natural instincts would kick in.
The one thing I can promise you about starting Game of Thrones is that there will be characters that you root for, that you absolutely ride for! In House of the Dragon, everyone is portrayed equally flawed, and it forces you to choose a side (or no side at all) based on information at hand, and how you personally interpret the characters decisions and actions. Looking forward to your GoT reactions and finding out which characters you come to love!
GOT is probably about the same in terms of intensity and shock factor. It does not move as quickly as HOTD though. It doesn't skip large portions of time like that, which isn't a bad or good thing. it's just a big difference
If you remember from episode 1; Viserys tells Rhaynera that, "The idea that we control the dragons is an illusion. A power man shouldn't have trifled with" this episode kind of eludes to that because Arrax (Luke's Dragon) shot fire at Vhagar without Luke telling them to and Vhagar is supposedly just reacting and because she's so old and been in actual battles ... She knew exactly what to do. You can tell Aemond lost control when Vhagar goes after Luke and Arrax.
Messengers are suppose to have immunity so no one knew this would happen. And Aemond was trying to scare him but the younger dragon disobeyed him and his own dragon is still an animal that will retaliate if attacked. But the main fault was Aemonds. He didn't think that provoking a dragon even the smaller one would try to defend it's self. And yeah the boy is gone. It's fantasy but this isn't star wars. Game of thrones is known for having no mercy. Game of thrones is worse. Kids aren't spared. sorry bro.
I see people saying how Rhaenyra couldn't have seen the end happening and the war hadn't started etc yet they knew the other side would also send their own to add to their loyal houses and the boys were sent out for that purpose. Why would the same not be considered for the other side? That dragon riders, quicker than an envoy on horse or whatever, would be sent and that one of those dragonriders not only rides the biggest dragon but also has a vendetta against one of the very boys being sent. Btw I'm not Team this or Team that, I just don't think it's so easy to discount the possibility of something happening whilst both sides attempt the same goal. Of course I understand that Rhaenyra and present company wouldn't expect Aegon to, but did not one person consider any other rider might?
Dragons are never on 100% pilot mode and this encounter just proved it. Viserys warned at episode 1 about it and it's only fitting that Aemond overestimated his position against granny dragon. He wanted to have a laugh at the boy and do a sick joke but granny is a war veteran and only understood it as one thing. Also a good reminder that in these times killing your relatives is one of the biggest tabboos you can do. It's a big no no. Not only Aemmond triggered the war but he also is always known as a person who killed a child relative.
For starters, messengers are supposed to be safe because you need your messages to get across there’s a certain law/just general respect thing if you don’t shoot the messenger Also, by sending her own signs, that was a sign of respect and saying she was going to be serious, and not looking at these people in any sort of downward way But sending her own son for the messengers that told you it was serious and important Her son should’ve been safe well and safe as anyone is in this time.
Have been watching your channel for a minute, but this might be the realest reaction I've ever seen. Thank you for showing your authentic feelings and emotions, and expressing in your inimitable way what many of us felt watching this episode. 🙏🙏🙏 PS: There won't be season 2 of HotD until next summer, so yes, please, if you are inclined, Game of Thrones could fill that space in and round out what you're seeing now. 🐺🐉🦌🦁
The lady that escaped can’t make a decision on her own. She has to follow her husband and he decides for the house and their people. Plus, kinslaying & kingslaying are two of the worst things you can do in this universe. She would be both.
And ... How is Lucerys Dumb ?? yes his 3 other brothers Joffrey, Aegon, and Viserys. are not wed, But at the end of the day Lucerys is only a second son and what you should have learned by now doesn't mean a lot in this world, Lucerys doesn't have the right to offer a marriage pack So I ask again How is Lucerys Dumb ??
Messengers are suppose to be immune to fights. Rhaenyra had no idea Vaemond would be there. I do wish Rhaenyra sent princess Rhaenys since her mother was a Baratheon & the lord’s father was a close cousin of hers. That’s also why Rhaenyra thought Luke would be safe. Cause he’s her “grandson” legally. Rhaenyra lost her father & 2 kids in one episode. I really hope you watch Game of Thrones so you understand this world better. & if you do plz watch the history & lore that comes with it & skip season 5’s history & lore if you don’t want spoilers for this show.
Bro they had a days lead bc they held the info of the king dying & she didn’t think they was going to be there you can’t blame her she didn’t want a war to start. It’s the show fam you gotta understand the kids are going to be in it regardless there hires to the throne
@@TtrueReacts i was going to mention that lol but i figured them having actual bloodties would be an even stronger argument for allyship than as Otto put it "stale oaths"
The mom didnt send Aemond to do anything. She has zero power anymore. The power structure literally goes Aegon then Otto and if something is wrong with Aegon he has 3 other siblings that are in line to be in charge even temporarily before Alicient has a say in anything anymore
Wow dude... your take on Rhaenyra in this one is... off. 1st of all, this was not her idea. She wanted to send ravens. She listened to her counselors and probably remembered that she went on a similar mission against her uncle at the same age. She wasn't sleeping this whole time. She was being deliberate, and actually thinking about the impact her actions would have on the country. She already lost a kid and a father in the same day. Can you blame her for wanting to limit bloodshed? Luke's death is NOT her fault. That being said... I'm so glad you came back and finished this season. I 100% recommend moving on to GoT as soon as you can. It will give you a better grasp on the world of the story in general. It is just as bloody and sexy, so no need to worry on that front. After you finish each GoT season, you may also want to check out the Histories and Lore that supplement that season. Really puts the stories into 3 dimensions.
She allowed her 14 year old kid to go knowing that of course the greens would also be busy gathering alies. She's just not very smart, she thinks back to when she was young and wanted to do stuff like that without thinking things through fully.
I'm pretty sure I asked a question that you responded "No" to so I'm unable to understand what you are saying "no" to given the limited context from your response. So what was the question of mine you were answering? -Adison
@@edn None. I mean I didn't mean to respond to any question. The "no" at the beginning is a turn of phrase. It also is a way to start a sentence, an exchange or a way to state an opinion. Also I mean that in a literal way, not in a rude way.
YES, start GOT asap! 😂 I will be surprised if you don’t regret waiting 10 years to watch it…..I did 😂! Suggestion: Try not to talk over the dialogue when watching GOT, a lot of what is going on is in the dialogue, emphasized camera shots, facial gestures, and non-verbal body language of the actors. The show is so good it will make you pay attention automatically, but you still have to listen to the dialogue to not miss clues and context of what is happening. You talked over 90% of the dialogue in the HOTD reaction 😂but it was still a pretty good reaction 😊 Excited for you to start GOT reactions soon! 😊
Hi, your live was cut off earlier, but if you have an AppleTV subscription and haven't already seen it I was going to mention The Tragedy Of Macbeth as a show. Denzel Washington is phenomenal in that movie.
i dont think u understand how things work in the got world. its common to send dragon riders out to do things. making a big deal of that don't make sense
I feel you but then look what happened because of that decision. Sending a kid out like that doesn’t make sense. Look at the results of that decision. -Adison
@@edn in the time period they are in “kids” arent really kids like we have today, and they are dragon riders at that. They have responsibilities and do things on their own. Him dying was the result of aemond, not because his mom let him do a normal thing like ride his dragon to deliver a message
There’s some book stuff and theories that people have that have to do with all the childbirths and stillbirths/dragon-esque babies. Dual purpose to all those hard scenes
Rheanys had full control of her dragon the red queen. I think it has to do with the fact the they are kids and haven’t been bonded long with their dragons compare to the adults. Who have been bonded since childhood
You cannot steal a dragon because dragons are not an object, anyone can claim them. Aemond did nothing wrong when he claimed Vaghar. aemond and vaghar were destined for each other. He was a child when he lost an eye that he did not deserve to lose just as Lucerys did not deserve to die. IF a person takes one of your eyes, there is obvious hatred and resentment. Aemond's sentiment is very understandable. But very young, which makes his emotions take over. Be careful, I'm talking about the version of the show.
Do not under any circumstances, watch Game of thrones. It will twist your stomach and send you through an emotional meat grinder. It will turn you into a nihilist.

When her father tells Rhaenera she will be the heir, he talks about the dragons and says “our control of them is an illusion.” The two boys just proved that. When it counted the most, neither Jace nor Aemond had control of their dragons.
Luke* Jace when to the Vale and the North
😂😂😂 I just wrote the same thing before I read your comment… like they don't control those dragons. Aemond found out the hard way.
Bet you didn't think that when Leonidas killed the messenger...

Aemond was chasing Luke around on his Godzilla ass dragon, maniacally laughing like an anime villain and screaming that he was going to pluck out his eye, and then was shocked when that didn't end well lmao
Facts! Like what did he really think was going to happen? That guy had the audacity to look sorry about the situation after it occurred...smh.

@@ShayP76he new to the Game Of Thrones world. Hopefully he’ll get it eventually when he watches the GOT show
Also consider that the "war" hasn't kicked off yet, right now it's all politics and who can get the other lords on their side in hopes that it's enough to get the other side to sand down without having to spill blood. There was no reason to think Luke would be in danger of being killed like that.
Kids also rule kingdoms & have babies in this world.. them going alone on their dragons isn't a big deal lol
The 'war' hasn't officially started to there was no reason to think that Luke would be in danger especially since he was just going as a messenger.
You can’t steal a dragon it bonds you if it thinks your worthy or whatever
Well in that case I would have never given lil man the opportunity to bond with that Dragon. He would have been in bed everyday at 8:30 A.M. 😅

4:21 Visenya was born dead, twisted, malformed, with a hole in her chest where her heart was supposed to be and a dragon's tail with scales.

"The birthing bed is our battlefield"
Here’s the thing about Rhaenyra and Daemon telling Rhaenys and Corlys the truth about Laenor. Lord Corlys would dispatch a search party to find Laenor if he knew he were alive. Laenor and Qarl left incognito, in the middle of the night, to not be found. It would breach that boundary for the two to be lusty, busty sailors in Essos.
And Laenor left willingly. He's also making his family think he'd dead. I don't why you'd just blame R & D lol
4:21 “The dead girl had been named Visenya, Princess Rhaenyra announced the next day, when milk of the poppy had blunted the edge of her pain.”
"Why did the mama send him out on a mission "😢😢😢😂😂😂
@@tuber7081 but we do know that Seasmoke does eventually take another rider
Brave little dude though.
Lord Corlys loves those boys and Vaemond was trying to not only destroy them but get them killed.
Since this is based on a History book and multiple perspective are taken into account- One of them posits that Lucerys actually lived, and woke up with amnesia. According to that take, he lived the rest of his life in a small village by the water where he became a fisherman.
Lmao i love this reaction. I feel like the show is pushing "teams" but honestly everyone is stupid in the book.
The show already proved the books aren't accurate.
Seems to me that the decision to tell Lenore’s parents that he is alive is 100% Lenore’s and zero percent Rhaenyra’s.
@@stein9432I think it would have been more logical of Alicent stopped supporting Rhaenyra after Jace's birth.
dragon cant be stolen it was free to be claimed.
they are like sentient nukes they are not passed down like family property.
so aemond was not in the wrong for claiming vhagar.
just like u should know the dragon daemon rides caraxes belonged to rhaenys father aemon and the dragon rhaenys rides meleys, the red queen was first ridden by daemon and viserys mom.
vhagar itself was ridden by aemonds grandfather baelon targaryen before it was claimed by laena

And it's not Rhaenyra's fault at all...
You understand their son wanted to be free so faked his own death right?
Yeah I get that part but I think the mother can get over that way quicker than thinking her daughter in law conspired to kill her son in my opinion.

5:47 52 houses supported Rhaenyra and installed her son Aegon III as King after Aegon II's death and 28 houses supported Aegon II until they turned against him and poisoned him.
1. Spoiler
2. Not true. We don't know how many houses supposed them
3. and yeah, Rhaenyra died bc the Dragonstone betrayed her.
1. you can't steal a dragon, vhagar chose aemond, if she didn't want him, she'd have killed him as which happens to many people who try to claim dragons who don't want them.
2. aemond lost a whole eye, of course he's not okay? he only said it was fine, because he had to watch as his mother was being gaslit and told to get over her son being permanently maimed, and so he told her it's okay that she can't give him justice, in the end he was a child soothing his mother because his father didn't do a damn thing to give him justice.
3. viserys said in episode 1 that dragons being controllable is an illusion, aemond was foolish and reckless to chase after luke, but he didn't mean to kill him. the dragons acted on their own. luke's dragon got scared and attacked vhagar who is a war dragon, so she attacked back and killed the dragon and luke.
Queen Rhaenyra is not a strategic thinking NOT to mention Princess Rhaenys told her they were after her and her kids. So she thought sending them on a mission unarmed without guards was smart ...who does that 😅
Can’t wait to watch you react to Game of Thrones! It’s one of top favorite shows of all time!👏🏾😀
Had you clutching your pearls at the end 😭
I am so glad to hear you say "everybody gotta go". Both sides are wrong.
GOT is awesome the best fantasy show of all time
if you think these targaryens are bad, then you would love Maegor the cruel.
Kids aren't spared. sorry bro.
Oh PLEASE do Game of Thrones!
I wish he would have seen that first, then this.
4:21 "She was my only daughter and they killed her, they stole my crown and murdered my daughter, and shall answer for it." - Rhaenyra Targaryen
For starters, messengers are supposed to be safe because you need your messages to get across there’s a certain law/just general respect thing if you don’t shoot the messenger
Also, by sending her own signs, that was a sign of respect and saying she was going to be serious, and not looking at these people in any sort of downward way
But sending her own son for the messengers that told you it was serious and important
Her son should’ve been safe well and safe as anyone is in this time.

Rhaenyra hasn’t been violent yet, the Greens pushed her to war. She was her father’s daughter before this episode.
The lady that escaped can’t make a decision on her own. She has to follow her husband and he decides for the house and their people. Plus, kinslaying & kingslaying are two of the worst things you can do in this universe. She would be both.

Wow dude... your take on Rhaenyra in this one is... off. 1st of all, this was not her idea. She wanted to send ravens.
No because I think you didn't quite understand the show, and you blaming Rhaenyra because you didn't understand was both funny and weird.
@@LolLilol-uw3ou gotcha gotcha all love! I was just a little confused so I wanted to ask before assuming. I appreciate you! 💯❤️

mom sent the kids so they can start the war. she said she wouldn't start it.
Someone PLEASE tell this guy why the momma sent them on this mission. PLEASE.
I know why she did it and I think it was a terrible decision. 🤷🏾♂️

There’s some book stuff and theories that people have that have to do with all the childbirths and stillbirths/dragon-esque babies. Dual purpose to all those hard scenes
He lost control and the Dragon killed her son. Now the dance begins I think.
Now I know why they called you a sweet summer child 😂😂 kids ain’t safe in GoT shit real
Great job finishing up this series.
I hope you have some good mods because people are spoiling loads in the comments 😐
Rheanys had full control of her dragon the red queen. I think it has to do with the fact the they are kids and haven’t been bonded long with their dragons compare to the adults. Who have been bonded since childhood
Also if you watch GOT, you can't watch that without watching KrissyChula's reaction videos too! They go hand in hand with each other.
Its UP from here !!
She sent them as messengers
You cannot steal a dragon because dragons are not an object, anyone can claim them. Aemond did nothing wrong when he claimed Vaghar. aemond and vaghar were destined for each other. He was a child when he lost an eye that he did not deserve to lose just as Lucerys did not deserve to die. IF a person takes one of your eyes, there is obvious hatred and resentment. Aemond's sentiment is very understandable. But very young, which makes his emotions take over. Be careful, I'm talking about the version of the show.
Dont you put the blame on rhaenyra
But the son though 🥹🥺…

I'm Team Wolf. :-)
Did you ever react to the SNL skit that Dave Chapelle did about this series? It is hilarious!
Hey you know they just say you have a choice. May not be a choice you like but there is always a choice.
You will love Game of Thrones. It's the best!
Killing Otto accomplishes nothing. Aegon would just name a new hand.
If you enjoyed HOTD, definitely recommend watching GOT!
Grandma Vhagar did not dohaeras
Hell yeah
🤘🏾🤘🏾🤘🏾

Does it matter of they ate the boy? Hes like a mile up lol
ay bro love the content would love to have you on my show to talk about some HOTD AND GOT
⚜️ You need Game of Thrones in your life!
Do not under any circumstances, watch Game of thrones. It will twist your stomach and send you through an emotional meat grinder. It will turn you into a nihilist.
Its worth the wait love!
also it was aemond's fault for being an asshole thinking that a giant war machine would listen to him.
I love your passion
