I checked out Raven at the slidebar in Fullerton CA on 11-06-18, haven't seen the band since "the pack is back" tour opening up for the Judas Priest at Irvine Meadows, CA in the late 80s. From the first song till the end of the encores Raven had the packed house of young metal heads and the mixture of old headbangers (such as myself) screaming, singing, fist pumping and head banging for a tight energy fueled neck-breaking set. I flashed back to the "stay hard" tour when I first checked out Raven at the country club in Resada, Ca. They haven't lost a step, still had the same energy and fire in their bellies. John's voice and bass playing still screamed and thundered, while Mark's guitar shredded faster than the speed of light with relentless energy while Mike Heller from Fear Factory abused the skins to hold it all together. If you have a chance to catch them on the 2018 "scream murder death from above us" tour GO!!!!!!!!! Keep Metal Alive - JDOG Long Beach CA
*Fucking sounds more like Megadeth than Megadeth do now. Kinda makes you think* *Painkiller crossing Never Neverland & Symphony Of Destruction. Some badass songs by a* *badass NWOBHM band, who never bullshited you or sold out.*
These guys still bring it harder than about 90% of the bands out there. NO NO NO NO NO NO NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO ….. WON'T GET ME ON THE HELL PATROL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Joe Hasselvander is an amazing drummer. He is one of my all time favorite drummers. He is one of the influential metal drummer from the first era. (Pentagram) He is just a virtuose. He should have been equally as famous as Bill Ward.

@@sheigno4385 Wow that is so trippy. It's way over the top but I have to admit I often wondered how a bunch of drunk, high, knuckle dragging dropouts could have possible had the sophistication and worldly knowledge to write things like "Creeping Death" lyrically not to mention the complex guitar parts and arrangements. It's very interesting indeed. Thanks for that point of view - even if you were high.
That's FUCKIN' Metal!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
