It’s relaxing when the thread doesn’t get itself in a knot you can’t untie It’s not so relaxing when it takes you more than ten minutes to thread the needle
Enjoyed the silence while watching you create. I find myself missing the relaxation that comes with embroidery. Unfortunately, as I've aged, arthritis in my hands together with poor eyesight keep me from doing it myself.
Milanie Ferdinando My mom has arthritis too, and she lives crafting. Try using a punch needle pen with stabilizer in the back of your piece! That’s what my mom uses, it also can easily change stitch sizes so it might be better for poor eyesight.
I feel like you can learn a lot more when you just focus and watch... I'm refreshing my stitch knowledge because I'd like to get back into it and I think I learned a lot more from this one because there wasn't an explanation to go with it!
I'm not even half way through the video yet but this is the best embroidery tutorial I have seen on RUclips so far! I learned so much and felt so inspired.
My aunt bought me a book of various embroidery stitches a number of years ago. While the book does a good job of explaining, your videos make the lessons in the book so much clearer! Thank you!
I’ve never watched any videos of embroidery (but I loveeee hand lettering vids) and I’m already obsessed ITS SO SATISFYING THANK U FOR BRINGING THIS VID TO THE WORLD MAKE MORE JUST LIKE THIS OMG SUBSCRIBING RIGHT NOW
Great work and I appreciate your video. I need to do things with my time during football sharing with hubby! You are very good and a talented teacher. Thank you.
Just watching the quiet stitching was SO RELAXING and inspiring!!! And because it wasn’t sped up like crazy, I was able to follow much easier. Will you please consider doing more Watch Me Stitch videos like this?! Maybe even tag it with ASMR for the SEO lol
I would love to do clay sculpting, embroidery and all sorts of artistic stuff. I dunno if I'm good at it yet, but I'm sure practice always makes perfect
Beautiful! I have really enjoyed watching your videos as I am beginning to learn embroidery. And, it's also relaxing for me to watch. I missed your commentary this time! ;)
Just started embroidery and absolutely love your channel! Quick question, do you use one of those fancy vanishing pens to draw your outline on to your fabric? Thanks :)
Sometimes, yes! I try to include pre-stamped fabric in my kits but for my own projects I trace with a pen. I have an overview of a bunch of options here: namastehandembroidery.com/blogs/embroidery-basics/pattern-transfer-glossary
i have recently wanted to get into embroidery and this is so nice to watch!!! feels like i’ve learned a lot just by watching this. never really been a fan of videos that have lots of talking, it distracts me? idk y
I know this tutorial was a year ago .Is this good for beginners? An what kind of cloth are you using..I'm new at this stuff.I love the video .Sometimes the music and the talking can't distract from the project..Thank you for sharing..Love the flower.
It's hard to tell for sure, but it might be a finely woven cotton with a high thread count, like very good sheets. That would be a good choice for this kind of work, where you want precise choice where to put the needle. You could after all do a nice delicate little figure like this on pillowcases.
Very nice!!! Would you ever consider doing the giraffe tutorial?? Please? Please?❣️❣️❣️ I have the PDF for the hedge hog and watched that tutorial many times.....super helpful!!!! Thank you!!!
What colors did you use here? Did you choose them so that they would be easy to see against each other or are these colors you would usually use like this? Sorry if you've already answered this, I'm too lazy to look through all of the comments. I just like watching you work.
They likely have some kind of vertical vice to hold the hoop, as for the fabrics you use cottons, satin, even burlap. It really depends on the project.
do you have a video about which needles you prefer to use? i'm currently using regular embroidery needles but the eye seems too small and i have so much trouble threading it
Do you not cut the thread when dine in one section or is is all one very long thread or multiple needles? Basically, what does the back look like? Otherwise this is soothing.
PERFECT VIDEO. Full process, normal speed, no commentary or annoying music. Love love love. Thank you
A couple repetitions and then moving on; good pace. Friendly, professional delivery.
i can understand how women in the middle ages did this for multiple hours a day everyday. it's so relaxing.
Weaver Fever also because it was one of the only things they were allowed to do
Weaver Fever and you make the mula and feed the kids with it too
It’s relaxing when the thread doesn’t get itself in a knot you can’t untie
It’s not so relaxing when it takes you more than ten minutes to thread the needle

I learned a lot just from watching in silence. Loved the absence of chatter! Thanks
Iris Gross same!

Iris Gross xx
l l eamed a lot just from watching in
Iris Gross you do realize if it had chatter you could lower the volume, right?
I’ve literally never seen that rose technique before maybe is because I’m new but it is so gorgeous and I started doing it immediately
Kat Grantham I just tried this technique tonight and it’s gorgeous!! It’s super easy and looks just as good in person!
I've seen this embroidery 100 times on pinterest. I'm so glad i can finally learn how to make those flowers!
Thanks so much for your time. Thanks for sharing, not many people who sell their products share their knowledge.
I appreciate your time and sharing.
Silence is golden. Helps to focus on stitch technique. Thank you.
I love the colours! Embroidery in general is just so nice to look at. Thanks for sharing!
Thank you for no loud music. Thank you for sharing your talent.
If the embroidery wasn't so good, I would have assumed that you were an asmr channel...
Now that you mentioned it... it is really good ASMR
RoCeb LOL!!!!!
My exact same thought!!!!!
RoCeb It's funny because I actually used this to fall asleep to. It's very calming and asmr like Lol

I'm not even half way through the video yet but this is the best embroidery tutorial I have seen on RUclips so far! I learned so much and felt so inspired.
SUCH A NICE SOUND OF THE THREAD PASSING THROUGH THE FABRIC
This doubles as an asmr video lol
??? ASMR ???
what is asmr?
Search asmr vids in RUclips you can see what he/she meant
Hell. No. I had to watch with volume off because the breathing made me cringe
Isabel stop being rude
I do embroidery a lot but honestly I’m watching this because I find the sounds of embroidery super relaxing as opposed to watching it as a tutorial.
My aunt bought me a book of various embroidery stitches a number of years ago. While the book does a good job of explaining, your videos make the lessons in the book so much clearer! Thank you!
This makes me really want to try this! It’s so satisfying seeing it come together
This is so beautiful! watching that was so relaxing, I can`t believe that I spent 18 minutes seeing it!
I love this video. It’s relaxing and educational. If you made more “no talk” videos just showing technique I would watch every one of them.

You see I would love to be able to embroider but I suck at it so I’ll just watch the satisfying videos instead 💀💀
Can someone tell me what this fabric is called? none of the canvas I have seems properly suited for this precision. Thanks!

Very beautiful
Question. Can you wash this or would that mess up the placement of the thread in the rose?
Thank you for posting - can I ask what size needle you are using to thread?
Hi I just discovered your channel; just awesome - how many strands are you using here please?
What is holing your hoops on top? And how do you start embroidery I mean how do you add new colors? What fabric do you use?
They likely have some kind of vertical vice to hold the hoop, as for the fabrics you use cottons, satin, even burlap. It really depends on the project.
do you have a video about which needles you prefer to use? i'm currently using regular embroidery needles but the eye seems too small and i have so much trouble threading it

I want to try this without pricking myself
If I took up embroidering, I’d probably fall asleep halfway doing them
Love the color scheme. What are those?
