Thanks Blue Alpha team for consistently making good content for your channel. You guys are super underrated here on RUclips. P.S. I’m still loving my Battle Belt Lite especially with the Aluminum Cobra pro style belt buckle upgrade. The gear you guys put out is top notch! Thanks again. 🇺🇸
I think it's simply that if you don't shoot with night vision or do only CQB (and people doing only CQB are rare), you don't understand tall mounts beacuse frankly there is no need. But if you shoot with night wision you absolutely need a tall mount and it is obvius the very instant you shoulder the rifle.
@@PunaJussi GBRS described this as a mount for CQB professional, DJ also said he doesnt believe in looking through a tube through another tube. SO your comment is kind of ironic
It didn't come with mounting screws? That's kinda weird for how much that thing costs. I prefer high mounts too. Not sure about that price point though.
my personal grump against a mount this tall is exactly what you've shown. if it's basically the same height as a piggyback, why not use the piggyback. i know there's a weight issue, but you gain so much more function. nevertheless, i still got a hydra for eotechs. love it.
My problem isnt with the mount not coming with the screws. My problem is buying an $800 optic and it not coming with screws. Especially when Aimpoint told me to only use their screws lol. I don't think the burden of adding screws should fall on GBRS because they don't know What optic you will use. They only know what footprint it is. Aimpoint did make it right and sent me screws, but it definitely pissed me off.
i think this need clarification. I wonder if they are talking about the screws that mount the optic in not the rail screws. id like to know. im sure its the optic screws

@@BlueAlphaBelts I will definitely tell them!
i LOVE my Lerna mount. i don't understand all the hate for it from other places on the internet.

My issue with the 2.91 was that I didn't feel like it offered me any advantage over 2.26 but it did come with more downsides

What range are you zeroing at with that high mount?
I'm a big fan of the 2.91. Works great!
The higher the optic the lower the holds are for long range shots
Interesting to hear that it didn’t come with screws- especially with how GBRS put a huge emphasis on them in their video lol

What’s that on the Acog rifle’s stock?
That's the Blue Alpha Stock Sock
I run two Hydra's on SBR's and they work amazing! High mounts work! Haters gonna hate.
if your optic+mount is the same hight as the upper combined with the lower your smoking meth
It’s just getting obscene now.
We can go higher! 4.5” let’s gooooooo
At this point companies are just becoming novelty product mills.
The taller you go the more it shakes.
it amazes me that people still buy gbrs trash
Y trash
What brands do you recommend? I have a SBS with a top rail green dot eotech but have to crouch too much.
