Good to see you back man 👍.
I dropped in to the Drifta shop on my last trip. Wow it looks awesome but you need a lot of $$$ in there lol.

Nice 👍 i reckon they are still priced pretty well considering a Darche one was $5K

Hi, I really enjoyed your video and congratulations on your impressive setup! I hope your trip to Cape York was both fun and safe. I own a Prado myself and have been considering installing a rooftop tent. However, after watching a few videos about roof load limits, I’ve had second thoughts. The Prado has a dynamic roof load limit of 100kg, and it appears that your setup might exceed that. I’m curious to know how this is working out for you. Have you encountered any issues due to the extra weight? Thanks in advance

Hey mate, this setup was only temporary to do a cape York trip. Regardless of that, I didn’t have any issues. The rooftop tent is now off the Prado and going back on my toy hauler trailer.

Going to have to check that tent out. Unsure if I’ve made the right decision with the V type, side opening seems to give much more room!

Hey mate new to your channel looking forward to your upcoming gulf videos. Question re RTT how did you find the drifta in the cape...

Hey mate, the Drifta RTT went really well. Pretty happy with it. Obviously something like a Bush Company RTT for be more premium but so is the price. The mattress update make a decent improvement, but it means that you pretty much can't leave any bedding in it or it's pretty trick to close the latches. Throwing the bedding down and putting it in a cheap bedding bag from eBay is pretty easy to do.

Hey mate, the roof top tent is a Drifta Wild Land and the mattress upgrade is an extra option available from them on their website. Just google Drifta and their website will come up.

We are thinking of Cape York in a year or two (for the first time). I hope your trip goes smoothly. How long will you be taking to do it?
