Tyler Severance earned 1st place at the Maryland State Yo-Yo contest. This years contest was held at the Perryville Elementary School in Perryville MD. The contest was open to all ages, and sanctioned by the National Yo-Yo League and the American Yo-Yo Association.

Just to Clear things up:
Tyler was Never Sponsored by SPYY! SPYY Made him a Signature Yoyo before he was even on the team, and then offered to sposnor him when the Yoyo was out, be he turned them down. And he IS Using the YYF Superstar, not the Severe, not the Train Wreck. The Superstar! All Information I got from Tyler Severance Himself! Go Ahead and Ask him, He will Tell you teh Same Thing.

your wrong as far as i know there's no restrictions on what kind of yoyo you use know it honestly wouldn't make a difference if you had a yoyo that slept for 20 minutes because they judge on creativity and technicality not sleep time
