    I don’t know if you still active on RUclips but thank you for bringing me memories. I miss c15 dorms and all the drama that was happening back then

      Yeah I am active on RUclips. Lately I have been busy in my postgraduate studies and research so couldn't allot sufficient time to be active on RUclips. It was a very lively atmosphere in c15 back in those days

    Hello Shiva, do you know if its possible to start a Postgraduate Degree (Master) around January/March at SCUT, or in Chinese universities in general? and many thanks for showing around your dormitory room!

      @shiva2raut  11 месяцев назад +1

      It is not possible to start any degree courses(bachelors,masters or PhD) around the time mentioned by you. The annual academic year starts at around August-September so we can start our postgraduate courses only in the month of September. This applies to SCUT, or any other Chinese National university

    Hi, if I want the room to myself can I pay twice the accommodation fee?

    • @shiva2raut
      @shiva2raut  Год назад

      Hi, I am unsure if you may get an entire room for yourself in case you agree to pay twice the accommodation fee. I myself have never seen anyone being granted a single room in the dorm. If you have any such request then you can contact the SCUT authorities otherwise you can rent a room for yourself near the campus. 😊

    How about doing btech computer science in scut from India.

      @shiva2raut  4 года назад

      Doing a B.E. in computer science in SCUT is a good option. Course wise there isn't much difference but studying in SCUT also has other advantages like getting a wide exposure to the new technologies around. The labs are well equipped, there is a good teaching staff and workshops are often conducted for students where they get a chance to visit the factories of well-established and renowned companies like DJI, Tencent and many more.

      @@shiva2raut I'll apply to the CSC and I was wondering, do I choose the dormitory? Or the university send me to one randomly? and which one is better? The one in the south campus or the one in the north?

    • @shiva2raut
      @shiva2raut  2 года назад

      @@adrianvillanueva8536 if you're selected for the CSC scholarship, then probably the university will assign the dormitory to you based on the availability of the rooms in either of the campuses. The assignment of dormitory may be irrespective of the campus on which your major will be taught. Now coming to the quality of rooms and campus life on either of campuses......it all depends on individual preferences. The North campus being the older of the two campuses, is centrally located in the city, is a bit more crowded, has got more number of restaurants, malls and other city amenities around and so on. The South campus on the other hand is situated on a beautiful island in the midst of the Pearl River. It's the bigger of the two campuses, less crowded and a bit detached from the busy city life. The campus is neat and spacious. It's just like a retreat campus, a couple of metro stations away from the urban City life.
