    Freaking *BEAUTIFUL* Rick. You remind me of some of the top brush cats I have ever seen! (Tony Williams, and Jake Hanna among them). Random question- is that a PTS/pre-tuned head?

      That is an old Henry Adler Quiet Tone practice pad. Sabian sells a version of them.

      You can try but it is much easier with the traditional grip.
