from what I hear, pool has been closed in laurentian and needs some maintenance, are there other options of swimming in sudbury, which woul be open even during winters? (I love swimming)
Hi Johnny, we couldn't spike the market if we tried. IF we priced things to high they would never sell. The problem is the supply. I am a realtor and I dont think its fair to have the prices go up. I would prefer the prices to stay the same. But there is sooooo many buyers that want to buy and no listings out there. So people are over bidding for them.
@@TristanRitchie The entire housing market in Canada is a bubble that started when they removed the foreign ownership regulation in the 80s because baby boomer and the real estate market wanted to create a artificial shortage to cause house prices to go up. Boomer house values went up and real estate made greater commission on the high prices. Hell doing these videos in a way is trying to spike the market more people buy many as a investment and not a living location create a shortage which produce a rise in prices. Good for real estate agent but bad for buyers. Even if you build thousands of new homes they will be priced to the bubble value unfortunately if you bought a home in this bubble you don’t want to be the person holding the bag when the bubble pops by bringing back original regulation to fix the problem that was created in the first place which real estate folk really don’t want fixed. One day somebody has to pop the bubble or we will haves millions with no place to live. Rental prices are tided to house prices.
@@shojingod I agree with most of what you just said!! Although this isnt Realtors fault. We have no control. If we price to low someone will give us more. Its like any other item or commodity. When was the last time you saw the price of food go down and stay down? Prices will go up and down. We just saw the prices drop 21%. Which is a crash. I think one thing that the average population doesnt see is how many people can afford homes. There are SOOO many buyers out there still that want to buy, but just dont have anything available.
@@TristanRitchie Well it's not you personally but your industry stop lot of the efforts to regulate this market because the higher the price, the higher the percentage. It can be the difference between making 4 figures or 5 on a sale. Let just say many major realtor agencies greased the ones that prevented regulation and also many home owner not wanting the value of their overpriced properties to lose value. It's a cycle that will result sooner or later to a housing market that is going to collapse some time soon. Some things can be pushed to the limit until it breaks. Food, logging and transportation are requirement. Why do you think the government left interest rates so low for 15 years.
GREAT idea for a video!! In Sudbury the four best are: Idylwyld (private course), Timberwolf and Cedar Green and Lively. If I had to pick one I would say play lively.
@@TristanRitchie Thanks Tristan for the info. Yes, it would make a great video for golfers. Maybe we will drop in to see you when we are there. Thanks for the info on the courses. Stan

Hi! Yes there are a few. Most notably the Gatchell pool and the YMCA pool. They have lessons and free swims.
@@TristanRitchie Thanks for the information 😊
P.S. Our housing prices won't stay low if we have real estate people spiking the market.
