Try dishwashing liquid and a scrubbing brush to get make up out of clothes.
My cartilage issue was from getting a hoop type earring put in at the time of piecing. Never healed, kept getting infected and formed a bubble. What worked was swapping to the straight bar type earrings until it fully healed (plus more just in case). Doesn't look as nice but worth it in the long run.

With the peircing on the top of your ear, highly recommend changing it straight to a sleeper so it can breathe better, also try not to sleep on it for a few days after you get it. And just clean with warm water and salt. Mine healed within a week and haven't had any issues since. Had it for about 10 years.
Hey Steph, I second this. I had mine done yonks ago with a gun and fairly certain I changed early on to a sleeper. It was just so much easier to clean!

Cartliage piercing tip!! I always had the original piercing in for ages and always rotated it when spraying it. Never put anything smaller in it because the hole will get smaller

I took a random notion last year and got my helix and tragus pierced. My helix never really healed because I think my glasses leg kept catching on it. Changed it to a small hoop last week and touch wood - it seems to be snag free and I’m hoping it stays that way as I love it so much. Your combination of earrings are beautiful.

@Steph Pase yes, the best thing for myself and within a couple of hours, my colour came back. My partner send that before I got them done I looked like a ghost, lol 😆, by the way I was 49 at the time, now almost 52, but I feel younger, age is only a number, yeah right?
