Man, I was Airborne in the US Army for three years from 2000-2003 and thirty + jumps. I'd listen to this song every morning of a jump at mind melting volume and it really got me through emotionally and psychologically.
This piece stands on its own. Like Psychotron, it paints an audio picture of a particular idea. I love the descriptive words chosen such as the pale horse reference and the "dirt torpedo" analogy! This is great, great musicianship and just all around fun for artists and music enthusiasts. One can't hear this song and unlike Megadeth. For anyone who has ever stared over the edge of a tall building, cliff or tower, it should hit very well home how this song wonderfully captures the inherit calling we all face towards, well, extinction for lack of a better word. We will all personally become extinct...this song asks how? Awesome stuff, thank you for uploading this!
