I just added some Nilight 9007 LEDs to my 2005 Grand Caravan with reflector housings. I also did the fog lights as well. It has a great beam pattern and seems to work very well. And no I dont use my fog lights all the time. Only when needed in certain weather conditions. Thanks for your videos! They are very informative and helped me make my decision to upgrade!
06 ram. Really deciding on morimoto hid 50 watt 5k for pure white but also want a better beam pattern. I seen videos on reflectors almost tripling the lux numbers. More usable light. What should I do ? Also want a D2S for the retrofit
I would recommend going an with LED setup over the 50 watt HID system on the 06 RAM. LEDs are going to last way longer than any HID on the market and now days, they are just as bright.
Would it be safe to say that when a bi-xenon projector is in the low beam mode that the projector is only outputting around half of the total available light?
No, its still putting out all of the light. The only difference between low beam and high beam would be the placement of the shield. In low beam, the shield is down and that creates the beam pattern. When high beam is engaged, the shield drops and allows all of the light to come through.
I thought you cannot change a reflector headlight with LED bulbs.. so you just have to find a similar position fillament/LED on choosing the bulb type/brand/model? but that would be a but cumbersome to find exact same location of the bulbs wont you say?
I recently purchased a pair of Anzo’s aftermarket headlights, according to their site, they claim that we shouldn’t use anything but halogen bulbs..But I upgraded anyway with LEDs..Can anyone recommend a good bulb for these model lights? Thanks!..joe
I'm not sure I agree with this guy. My son has a 2017 Impala with halogen projector headlights and he replaced the bulbs with LED and it doesn't seem very bright. I have a 21 Chevy Silverado with reflector style headlights with halogen bulbs and I put LEDs in mine and they are 10 times brighter and way brighter than his projector style headlights with LEDs
Not all projectors are created equal, some OEM halogen projectors perform very poorly with LEDs, while others perform great. We try to do as much testing on our channel with different vehicles to show this!
HID and LED bulbs are street legal in the USA for Fog Light use only. Not compliant with DOT / FMVSS108 and not street legal in the USA for Headlights. Legal for off-road use in Snowmobile and ATV headlights and off-road racing use only auxiliary or forward lighting. International street legality varies by country.
@@HeadlightRevolution Yes... but, Where in Title 49 of the United States Code dose it say EXACTLY that LED lights are not street legal in the United States of America for headlights?! I looked and read everywhere through Title 49 of United States Code, and NO WHERE can I find where it says LED lights are not street legal in the USA for Headlights! Where does it say that in United States Code Title 49?!

@@HeadlightRevolution So in low beam the shield is blocking a certain amount of light output..potentially 50%....correct?
Can you recommend me for 2014 Kia Sorento LX thanks
What would you recommend for a 2013 Ford escape. I bought LEDs before and they will not stay on. Thanks in advance
You will need a PWM module for LEDs on that vehicle! Reach out to us and we can help

Try the Morimoto 2stroke 4.0 LEDs, they're made just for that!
Does the Honda civic EX-L 2017 have a projector or reflector housing??
Reflector
Lol no it has a projector and high beam reflector. Look at your lights it’s not hard to tell
