I have the 2016 Corolla. Someone just hit me from behind when I was stopped at at light in an F150. I'm just finding out that the 2016 Corolla LE Plus does not have a rear bumper absorber at all. The body shop was shocked when they looked for the part online. I guess that is why I felt the jolt so bad, nothing to absorb the impact. I looked at the video for the rear crash test at 50 mph....not good.
I just bought 2016 Corolla - before that I had a 2001 Mitsubishi - I have no doubt going 15 mph - they would find my parts all over the place..scary car.
better then 2003-2006 chevy silverado 1500 the bumpers fold like a wet paper plate you can see it's worse then the classic 99-2007 style ruclips.net/video/ZKzC6KCPC7k/видео.html
markcovka they are no longer built strong like steel. They are built so that the engine drops in a serious crash, instead of making its way to the interior dashboard. The front of the car crumbles up to the dashboard, but not past it, reducing the force that the driver and his passengers will encounter
I will take a crumpled car than a crumpled body any day! I was in a car accident in the early 90's before air bags etc and the engine block came into the cabin crushing both my legs and my sisters. It was a long recovery.
I was in an accident with this car, I am here to say it protected me and did is job. I'm still here and only a sprained neck. I was not at fault.
really ? :O

I’m going from an Echo to a Corolla in two weeks talk about a huge step from safety.
Who the hell mounted the interior cameras?!? What a fail. Just as the impact occurred I'm looking at the rear seat/cables/instruments. Seriously?

I don't know. The last time I saw one of these Corollas is when I was coming home on the freeway and I saw one completely in half. Really scared me
Даже лобовое не треснуло!!! Хотел солярис покупать,теперь передумал-только королу!
посмотри краш 2014года короллы
desde venezuela muy muy bueno amigo bonito y seguro y facil de salva vida a la hora de un asidente
Too much to ask to mount the cameras securely so they don't get forced down thus filming nothing at all of value?
CL ad
minor damage on front end
LOW MILES!!
Not bad though, compared to 2014's crash test.
At what speed is this test done
it said 35 i think
Now test Mazda3, which is like cardboard.

Nick Riley but the engine didn’t drop. I’ve seen several videos of toyotas and none of them show the engine dropped. Do you know why?
Front right passenger has no knee airbag?
Ramon Quiray it's not an obligation.
My 96 Corolla would be in the dash wouldn’t be pretty.
well
I could have brought them Corolla
