They seem to come alive, even in wax - Balmumu da olsa canlanacaklar gibi

Çorlu Yılmaz Büyükerşen Balmumu Heykeller Müzesi olarak kullanılan bina bir zamanlar Çorlu Belediye Başkanlığı binası olarak kullanılmış, daha sonra atıl durumda iken restore edilerek müze binasına çevrilmiştir. 9 EKim 2020 tarihinde kapılarını halka açan müze, Tekirdağ İlinin Çorlu ilçesindedir. İçinde 110 kadar balmumu heykeli bulunurken, bu balmumu heykellerinin toplam fiyatı 2.5 Milyon TL'dir. Çorlu Yılmaz Büyükerşen Balmumu Heykeller Müzesi Çorlu ve Trakya'nın ilk Türkiye'nin ise 3. balmumu müzesidir.
Çorlu'ya okadar sık gelmeme rağmen bu sefer ziyaret etmek için not almıştım. İçeri girer girmez tarihin sessizliğini duyarken Aşık VEYSEL'in türküsü yüzünüzde bir tebessüm oluşturuyor. İlk karşılaşmanızda Sanat mı? Gerçek mi? diye düşünüyorsunuz. Bu zamana kadar birçok müze gezdim ama en etkilendiklerimden biri diyebilirim. Bir an korku filmlerindeki gibi canlanırlarmı diye arkanıza dönüp bakıyorsunuz. Çocukluğunuzun kahramanları, filmleri ile büyüdüğünüz sanatçıları görünce nostalji yaşıyorsunuz. Daha dün gibi, hayattaydılar. Yazarlar, gazeteciler, tiyatro ve sinema sanatçıları, iş asamları, Beşiktaş Onursal başkanı Süleyman SEBA, tabiki Mustafa Kemal ATATÜRK ve silah arkadaşları. Hepsi harika ve bence gerçekler. Biz onları gezerken onlarda bizi gözlemliyor gibi. Ülke ve hayat nerelere geldiğini gözlerimize bakarak anlıyorlar. Keşke keşke yaşasalardı dio insan. Kaybettiğimiz kişiler için huzur içinde yatsınlar
The building, which is used as Çorlu Yılmaz Büyükerşen Wax Sculptures Museum, was once used as the Çorlu Municipality building, then it was restored and turned into a museum building while it was in an idle state. On October 9, 2020, the museum opened its doors to the public and is located in Çorlu district of Tekirdağ Province. While there are 110 wax sculptures inside, the total price of these wax sculptures is 2.5 million TL. Although I come to Çorlu so often, I made a note to visit this time. As soon as you enter, you hear the silence of history while Aşık VEYSEL's folk song creates a smile on your face. Art at your first encounter? Is it real? you think. I have visited many museums so far, but I can say it is one of the most impressive ones. For a moment you look back to see if they come alive like in horror movies. You experience nostalgia when you see the heroes of your childhood, the artists whose movies you grew up with. It seems like yesterday, they were alive. Writers, journalists, theater and cinema artists, businessmen, Beşiktaş Honorary President Süleyman SEBA, of course Mustafa Kemal ATATÜRK and his comrades-in-arms. They are all wonderful and I think they are real. As we visit them, they seem to observe us. They understand how far the country and life have come by looking at our eyes. One wishes they were alive. May they rest in peace for those we have lost
