It's an LE93 paint scheme, limited edition for 1993 to celebrate being allowed to display at the national motor show as a car. They made 93 of each colour, blue, red and green like mine.
@@StevesMachines I drove a Shelby Cobra from Dolphin square garage along Chelsea embankment,Sloane square along Knightsbridge and back many many years ago,it frightened the living daylights out of me .

My father had a 2 door Orange Avenger with a white Vinyl top as well. They were the 1974 Sunseeker Special 1300. The last one id seen in the flesh was tucked in the corner of Gillards yard in Neath abbey back in the mid 90s looking very sorry for itself.
@@StevesMachinesGillards was ace - it was possibly your dad's car I might have seen. I was there most weeks plundering bits for my Imps - a set of carbs I plundered from a car piled 3 high are still fitted to my son's Imp to this very day. Was gutted when they decided to retire and it closed - it was Neaths very own field of dreams!
First time I've seen one, now I want a Hillman Avenger too haha! Love all the ridiculous cars you have there, the Reliant fits fight in, maybe even appearing "normal" My mate @MattBrysonRally does long distant rallying in a Leyland P76. They were made by "Leyland Australia" in the hopes it would save the company, but unfortunately it didn't. But it can fit a 44 gallon drum in the boot. Thanks for a great walk around! More Chevettes and Kadett C's please, and any other GM T car variants haha😁
Ah it's an Australian import, it's a good looking car, quite the beast by uk standards. We do seem to have our fair share of quirky littke cars in Europe, probably due to all our towns and cities being ancient with small streets.
@@StevesMachines Yes, the P76 was an attempt to compete with Ford and Holden's large family sedans of the time. Unfortunately Ford and Holden fans weren't easy to persuade to a different manufacturer, that combined with a poorly timed fuel crisis, meant P76 sales figures were underwhelming. Definitely a big boy to be getting around on the UK roads! I love the UK's car culture! It is so drastically different to Australia. Your "hot hatches" are something we never really understood, but they make sense in the UK. All the weird and crazy machines are so much fun! Aussie bogans and to be honest a lot of the general Aussie "car people" don't accept you as a car person unless you're in a V8. It is getting much better, but in the not too distant past it was very bad being a Holden Gemini enthusiast haha. In the UK we even came across a Yaris club, I felt really bad because I could not stop laughing, these people loved their cars! And they were cool cars! Over here they are NOT a cool car.
Hi you may spot my dads bond bug on your travels around the show he passed away but his bug still lives on will be there Saturday hope you have a great time my best DAZ
When do I ever shout at your purchases? I'm far too tolerant 😆 The Talbot Matra is pretty cool though, you can bring me one of those home please, in black if possible.
Same place as last year by looks of it! Hopefully I’ll make it again next year, things just didn’t go to plan for this year 😅
Your Reliant Robin does have a unique paint job. I with the Rialto had one like that.

You have succeeded in making me feel very old ,I remember most of those vehicles when they where new and driven quite a few of them .
Some of them were new in my time too.

My dad's one went to Gillards yard. That scrap yard was ace, I used to love sitting in all of the wrecked cars.

I thought they were forced to close, new pollution regs with them being on the canal banks.
