  • It is time to renew the chives and plant green house herbs, also to look at a drying rack I have been using.

    Thanks Elizabeth i was wondering what to do with my potted chives I’ve had for four years now, the pot is choca block with them so i think I’ll be able to give some to my neighbourhood. As well as starting again.

    Thanks for the mesh dryer idea. It will be were l shall be sprouting my potatoes in. How many years do you think will the chives keep going for with the method you use?

      Hi. We have had these chives for 2 years from seed. But we have others that have been in the same place for about 8 years and with a cut back, they have grown back and are still edible. Remember each plant multiplies from the base and As well as seeds.
