- Sarah and I do the Adventure Trail at Au Sable Chasm in the Adirondack Park in NY State. It is considered the Grand Canyon of the Adirondacks. We finish with a raft ride. This is called the Premium package when you do the Adventure Trail and the Rafting. It is about $50 per person and worth every penny.

Thank you for the video, we are heading there this summer...looks like a lot of fun!
Very nice place. It's funny how the word " au sable " was changed to be pronounce ausable. It comes from the river au sable that runes trough ny state. Roughly translated, it means the sand river. So in fact the chasm should be called the sand chasm
Thanks for the video, guys & GoPro! Btw, I feel like I'm gonna throw up! Hubby & I are going to do this on Sunday! Wish us luck, 57 & 66 yr old couple!
You'll be fine and you'll love it. They told us no one ever got hurt and only like 2 people ever slipped off the cables in all those years and they were fine and got right back on. Just relax and go into a zen and enjoy it. It's a memorable experience for a lifetime.
Sooooo scary. There are only 2 suspension bridges what was allowed for the tourists. No tubing, rafting, just hiking was allowed... I was fine with it coz those bridgea were soooo scary. Love the place tho'!
@@charitznjusakots5007 awwww come on. Why did they limit it? Once your on the course you're on the course.
Amazing video. So appreciate because I am super scared of heights. I cannot even zip line. This has to be scary at times. You guys rocked it !!! Those kids just scamper through. I was once fearless. LOL Then I got older.
My wife is not into anything physical or anything outdoors. I thought she'd be the scared one, nope it was me. She said it was great and loved it. She is always nervous in a car ride but said this was easier than riding along in a car. I don't get it haha
Thanks for this video. How long does the Adventure trail takes and the whole tour including the float and walk back?
Thanks for watching, glad that you enjoyed it. Id say 3 hours maybe? In shape you could do the course in 45 min no problem but if you have others in front of you, could take an hour and a half. The float was about 45 min to an hour as well. The line to get on was longer than the ride when I went. All well worth it imo.
What type of camera did you use to do this video and what is it attached to? I'm going on the weekend! Thanks
Hi Micah, it is just a go pro. I used a chest mount.
@@DeMarcheAdventures I just figured it out lol. Do you remember how much the cost is to rent? I’m looking online and Best Buy and I’m wondering if it’s worth it to buy one
They had some entire kit that was expensive and I don't remember what the exact cost was, but they ended up selling me one for ten bucks. It was a knock off and not go pro but I was extremely happy. You're going to have a ton of fun.
@@DeMarcheAdventures wait a second. They sold you a knock off camera and kit for $10?
@@micahwells6354 no just the chest mount, sorry. I thought you were thinking of buying a chest mount and not entire set up.
