Can you set "Vacuum carpets first" (and then vacuum and mop the rest) up, like with the Dreame L10s Pro Ultra Heat, so that the carpets are vacuumed with a (lifted) dry mop? Also, when going over a low-medium pile carpet, and the robot lifts (well, actually spins) the mops up, then are the mops mechanically "locked" in position, or can they get "spun down" fully due to the friction between the mop pads and the carpet caused by the robots forward movement? With the Dreame L10s PUH I found this issue quite disappointing.
Yes, the robot vacuum does feature a "Vacuum carpets first" mode, similar to the Dreame L10s Pro Ultra Heat. This mode ensures that carpets are vacuumed with a lifted dry mop. From our experience with our carpets (not very high one), it worked well. The mop pads remained in place. However, if you're seeking a solution with absolute certainty regarding the mop pads during carpet cleaning, the Dreame L20 Ultra might be an interesting alternative for you. Here the mop pads are left in the docking station while the robot vacuums the carpets. This occurs after the initial vacuuming and mopping of your hard-floors.
@@smarthomefox9323 many thanks for your reply and the info. I was considering stepping up tho the Dreame X40 Ultra, but the 1.5x price compared to the L10s PUH still makes me wonder to do so.

@@smarthomefox9323 perfect, can you please compare how loud the drying (hot air blowing) is after cleaning the mops at the end of the session? My L10s Pro Ultra Heat made 50dB loud noise (right next to the dock) continuously for multiple hours that I found quite intrusive even from 3-4 meters, and Dreame also confirmed that it should be only ~44dB (which compared to an average 38-40dB noise floor in an apartment is much less than my 50dB). I've sent the unit back, and waiting for the replacement to arrive, but would like to know how the Q Revo MaxV excels in this area. Many thanks!
Die Gummibürste macht einen ordentlichen Job bei den Haaren, da wickeln sich weniger Haare um die Bürste und diese lassen sich einfacher entfernen, da die Bürste komplett auseinander gebaut werden kann. Roborock Modelle mit zwei Gummibürsten, z. B. die Roborock S8 Serie, machen da aber einen etwas besseren Job. Durch die entgegengesetzte Rotation der beiden Doppelbürsten wickeln sich weniger Haare um die beiden Bürsten. Die Reinigung der Seitenbürste ist etwas komplizierter, da diese mit einer Schraube befestigt ist. Da musst Du einen Schraubenzieher benutzen.
