This video just proves why Lewis is the best charcater in H2O in my opinion. He always helped the girls out even when they did not treat him so well. It’s sad how there is a compilation of this. As a kid I always thought they were the best of friends. As I like grew up and rewatched I realized how much they don’t even appreciate anything he’s done. He’s taking the energy out of his time to figure out scientifically how they became mermaids and yea I totally get how defensive they are about keeping the secret hidden, but if they wanted answers so bad they should’ve just put some trust in him. He always tried to keep the secret, he did experiments on them because he wanted to know how it happened and help them control it. Even when he was with Charlotte he always told him he was there for them. He saved Rikki's life. He helped save the girls from Doctor Denmen. He broke up with Charlotte because he always loved Cleo more, he tried to help with the water tentacle. He even almost gave up an offer to study science in America because he didn't want to leave his girlfriend behind. Mr. Setori literally made him his best man in his wedding y'all

I never saw the problem with Lewis taking Charlotte to Mako. It’s not as if there was a big sign that said "THESE GIRLS ARE MERMAIDS." Lewis wouldn’t have obviously taken her to the pool either and literally anyone could have taken a boat to the island. Their anger at him for that was a little unjustifiable for me. Especially when they literally went to camp there with Cleo’s family and no one freaked out because they were going THERE, but because it was a full moon.

I agree with everyone here but honey I just hated him in season 2, HEAR ME OUT, before y’all comment, I just think when Charlotte stepped in, he was literally so clueless, and you’d think he’d be smarter on how to handle situations, like I feel like this is mostly on Charlotte but also it’s so sad how he was easily manipulated by Charlotte, yet when it came to the girls (in that season) he’d be against them on some stuff, like “don’t worry everything is under control, just trust me she’s not gonna find out anything… blah blah blah” but with Charlotte she had him wrapped around his little finger and seemed to have more trust in her than the girls which honestly dissapoinred me, however his unconditional support and research he did in order to help out the girls really did show how much he cared for them and was willing to do just abt anything for them to stay in the clear!!

i will never stop to think charlotte deserved lewis the most. her maturity, appreciation and respect was amazing and i root for their relationship. everyone had flaws including charlotte (we usually forgive characters their flaws, so why should this be an exception) (mistakes were made against her and that worsened her traits when time passed, not her being "evil" or anything), but imo the relationship deserved more investment on lewis's end. it's sad how cleo managed to make lewis ashamed of his new relationship (with her childish tantrums in the beginning), using him like her property though she dumped him, so she manipulated his mind into CONSTANTLY being pushed and pulled by thoughts of his ex. he kept emotionally neglecting charlotte for the mere shadow of his ex (all the secrets, hiding and insincerity) and that really made me furious because i wanted their relationship to develop and then AGAIN something stole his attention away. i think i should write an alternate fanfiction with more justice. i will definitely put rikki into her place (this brat drove me mad in season 2), give lewis appreciation he deserves and offer charlotte an untoxic starting point (without this jealous girl invading her diary as a first thing ever and ruining a carefully planned dinner out of the blue), and environment where she doesn't have to develop into the "bad one". because she deserves better
