That puzzle looks very challenging! It would take me a week or two to complete. Lovely image of an interesting/complex woman. Did you enjoy watching the Portland Jigsaw Masters? I watched it too and enjoyed it but I'm not interested in becoming a speed puzzler. I just love jigsaw puzzles so I always enjoy watching the competitions. Happy Puzzling, Luisa! 🎉 😊
Hi! Thanks for watching and commenting. I really enjoyed watching the Portland contests. I will be watching the Worlds in September. I am not interested in being a speed puzzler either, but I like the feeling of community when we are all putting the same puzzle together. What puzzle are you working on now?
@@LuisaPuzzles I'm currently working on a 1000 piece White Mountain called Best Sellers (classic books). It's a bit challenging but I'm really enjoying it. Happy Puzzling!
Hi Luisa, I use to puzzle a lot when I was younger and enjoyed it. I have been picking up a few along the way. I will be starting 1 soon. Not sure if I want too open up a new channel to share or to just share it on this channel. Looks interesting. TFS & 😊
Sounds good! I will check out your channel, if I understand you correctly? You have a channel with random things? Which puzzle are you going to be working on? Thanks for watching and commenting :)
What a tough image to complete with the big sections of pink and brown. I recently finished the Ravensburger "Radiating Rainbow Mandalas" 2000 piece puzzle by artist Elspeth McLean which is incredibly colorful! I did the Ravensburger 500 piece "Sunrise at the Port" again, and was able to cut 30 minutes from my previous time.
I don't like sorting, do most of the time I just flip up the pieces and start assembling. For the bigger puzzles I end up sorting everything, or just a part and put the rest in a bottom of a box. I like speeding puzzling from time to time and with that I time every puzzle just to know how long I was entertained.
Hi! Thanks for watching and commenting. Do you finish a puzzle in one sitting or do you time yourself over several days? I haven't decided if I like to sort yet. It just seems to be what I do when I don't have a lot of space for the puzzle. I do like being able to see all of the pieces spread out. What are you working on now?
@@LuisaPuzzles most 500 and 1.000 I do it in one day, the bigger puzzles it just approximate times, sometimes I just forget to hit it the resume. I just finished a 5k, and I getting in some speed practice since I got a competition on Sunday.
Well you enjoyed yourself with that puzzle. Freda Kahlo holds no interest for me at all, I just don't find her images appealing. Puzzling is what you wish it to be so obviously you choose images that you like, as I do. No need at all to rush through a puzzle. They are meant to be enjoyed as you slowly piece the puzzle and watch the image emerge. I shall be glued to my computer when Worlds is on next month.
Thanks for watching and commenting. I agree, her images are not appealing to the eye, but the meaning behind them is interesting to me. I actually prefer more colorful images so will be enjoying something a little different this week. I, too, will be avidly watching the Worlds. So fun! Happy puzzling :)

Wow! 2000 pieces is huge! I absolutely love a colorful puzzle but I am leaning towards more clearly defined images. Happy puzzling :)
I love casual puzzling. I am from Venezuela living in the United States for 23 years now. How is life in Mexico?
