My Dark Vanessa was definitely one of the most emotionally taxing reads for me this year, but it's also one of the best books I have ever read because of that. It's one of those books that I just want to read and reread and analyse to death!

My dark Vanessa was so good. There’s several books I have read that are similar. And out of all of them, MDV was so much easier to read than the others. It’s such an interesting concept to read about. And very important to read as well.

I’m so jealous you get to READ little fires everywhere before watching it! The show was one of the best I’ve ever seen from Hulu, and so I can’t even imagine how good the book will be. Guest list was excellent, too!

The Remnants Chronicles is one of my top favorite series (And the duology Dance/Vow of Thieves is a sequel to that trilogy) ♥️♥️♥️♥️ I'm so happy you're getting to know Mary E. Person's books. She is an amazing writer, has a unique, elegant and vivid style. Also, she is a total sweetheart, so you're in for such a treat 🖤🖤🖤 go for it girl!

I loved The Darkest Drae. It’s definitely the best out of the trilogy. But it is a romance. Seems more steamy and out of your comfort zone.
I've been wanting to read more books by Agatha Christie since I read Murder on the Orient Express (which I highly recommend btw) but I didn't know where to start so now I'm definitely picking up And Then There Were None, so thank you for helping me to decide 😂

Norse Mythology by Neil Gaiman was the book that brought me back to reading after 10 years! Also since you like historical fiction and thrillers I highly recommend the Silent Companions by Laura Purcell. It's set in three different timelines in one of which the main character is inprisoned in a psychiatric clinic, accused for murder and absolutely traumatised by what's happened to her in the other timeline. It's soooo good!

What was the previous Riley Sager book that you read?
I am currently reading 'the deathless girls' by Kiran Millwood Hardgrave. I am enjoying the read and the plot is generally quite interesting, I love how it explores a bond between sisters having two myself. Whilst so far it is not the most jaw dropping read ever, it is no doubt a lovely Nd easy read and the plot is easy to follow and juicy enough to want to carry on.
I've used quarantine to read so many books and write. 🥰

And Then There Were None was the first Agatha Christie book I ever read, and it's probably what got me into the murder mystery genre to begin with. I hope you like it!
I was able to start The Waterfire Saga by Jennifer Donnelly and that's also a mermaid series. Although the second book isn't my fav, otherwise it's pretty good.
