I think you'll really like Seventeen, and yeah they have cutesy stuff like 'Oh My,' 'My My,' and 'Snap Shoot,' etc. But they also have a lot of other concepts and styles like with 'Hot,' 'Fear,' and 'Getting Closer' being darker and more intense, and 'Thanks,' and 'Fallin' Flower,' being more melodic and artsy, they do everything!
Me stopping 30 seconds in after you say you’ve heard no Seventeen and seen no Seventeen: 🫥 Sara, you are SO missing out! BSS subunit is a good place to start but there are so many more talents in the group (10 more). They are amazingly talented vocalists and their dancing is top-tier, especially with such a large group dancing so crazily in sync. And the dances ARE NOT simple. I would love if maybe you could do a Seventeen discovering video. Trust me, we will love your reactions even if it isn’t to a brand-new video. I know you’ll love them once you watch them. They did a Killing Voice episode going through most of their hits a few months ago, I definitely recommend it. My top favorites from them are: Don’t Wanna Cry, Kidult, Habit (vocal unit only), HOT, Darling (their first English song), Rock With You, Cheers (the Leaders only, so the leader of the hiphop unit, performance unit and vocal unit), and Second Life. They are so lovable and have an awesome discography. Thanks for checking out this one and I hope this just intrigued you for more! Also, E’Last, The Boyz, StrayKids, Key and Purple Kiss all just had comebacks. And girl, you still need to watch BIBI Vengeance even if it’s just on your own time not in a video. BIBI is such a great, out of the box female artist for Korea and her work has really strong messages about society.

It come from BSS!” here we go.... as you said bss (booseoksoon) its a sub-unit from seventeen, composed for seungkwan, dk and hoshi (the gag trio of the group). why booseoksoon or bss? so boo came from boo seungkwan (his full name). seok came from seokmin (dk's real name) and soon from soonyoung (hoshi's real name). this was just to explain the bss thing (and to not make a HUGE commentary) i'm sure more carats (seventeen's fandom name) will come here and explain more further. Also a little info: the whole group (seventeen) they're 13 people. They have 3 units within: hip hop, vocal and performance. That's explain why the groups its called 'seventeen'. 13 people + 3 units + 1 team = 17 in the beginning was supposed to be 13 people but some trainees left And last but not least for bss: seungkwan is part of the vocal unit, hoshi is part of the performance and dk also part of the vocal unit. Tho ALL are considered all-rounders (for example the high note at the end was hoshi doing, but it was expected for one of the 'vocal unit members' dk or seungkwan to do) but we have this whole tangent like hoshi was supposed to debut in the vocal line but i'm not get into that. XG is a global girl group to check out. They are from Japan based in S Korea and sing in English. They have Four songs Tippy Toes, Mascara, Left Right, and Shooting Star plus Tape #1 Chill Bill and Tape #2 Galz Xypher worth listening to.
