We bought our Omega Floored Sectional (Bolero Pecan) from Havertys Furniture 7 years ago, and the corner recliner stopped opening last month. I called the store and was told the maufacturer closed down during Covid, and the store repair techs said universal repair parts would not work for this sectional. They told me the recliner could not be repaired and to cope without reclining or trash it. Well, I tried your advice anyway and... it worked! Thank you!

I saw your video. I am an American living in the Philippines. My recliner was broken. I am too old to get on my knees and do the work so I had to hire someone. Sometimes Filipinos have trouble understanding my English. I am also not very good at Tagalog. But I asked a local maintenance guy to help us and I showed him your video. I had already bought the cable and after watching your video, he was able to fix my recliner. You sir, are awesome. Thank you so much. (As a side note, he has never sat in a recliner and had no idea it could lay out so far. I took a pic of him in the recliner and he was quite happy. lol)

EXACTLY what I was looking for! Many thanks for taking the time to share your instructions. OMG thank you so much!!! Mine broke months ago. We have been looking at replacement chairs and can't find any we like. I cannot handle having my feet hanging down, so I've pulled up an office chair to put in front of my recliner just to put my feet up. Not ideal. This is awesome!!! Thank you again!

I was given a couch like this but both handles are broken so now i can repair it myself and im a single mother. The couch was in great condition but just couldnt recline. Thank you mr repair guy
Thank you simple and easy. The hardest part was getting the hook unclipped and getting the original screws back in. Fixed for now and may not last but at least I did it

I watched the video, ordered the (inexpensive) part off Amazon, and repaired my chair. Although the removal of the old part and replacement of the new part didn't go as smoothly as the video. I repaired the chair with great satisfaction. Thank you.
