I love the GAC design philosophy - understated, yet classy. Even the interiors are very well designed. The trunk and passenger space in this one is also quite impressive, based on your review. I think GAC cars are underrated. Have you reviewed the GAC GN6? I think you should. ☺️
Thanks for this review. I asked my Pinoy car enthusiast friend in Beijing and he has nothing to say but good things about this brand back in its home. Test drove this particular unit in MOA back in 2019 and was really surprised. Camry feels with Mazda 3 handling really. Very underrated brand. I hope its presence here in Ph lasts as i plan to have this when i change car in a couple of years.
The GAC GA4 (manual transmission) was very impressive in race endurance tests such as the Kalayaan Cup and Bonifacio Cup 👏👏👏 Truly underrated Sir Kyle. Plus, GAC is the main partner of Toyota in producing cars in China. Toyota and Aisin transmission, thus I expect reliability and durability of GAC vehicles 👍 At this point, the only drawback of GAC in the Phils. is the very limited number of dealerships. Hope GAC will open more dealerships soon..
@@KyleLiongCars For sure you have the money Sir Kyle 😊👍 As for me, waiting to win a lottery prize hehe 😅 BTW, keep up the good work in this channel and in Automart 👏👏👏
The engine can be in question but for the transmission, its AT is sourced from Aisin (Toyota) and the electronics/sensors are sourced from the likes of Bosch
Crossovers are pretty much out the window for comfort at that price point. Sedan wise, there’s not much really comfy ones at that price too. Best bet is the Almera but the base trim is manual. I HIGHLY suggest going for a used car. Camry is always the answer haha
I still do suggest 2nd hand haha! A slightly used car maybe 2-3 years old still feels new anyways. If it’s really only brand new for you, check out the Coolray :)
@@KyleLiongCars We are eyeing Changan Alsvin Platinum and Coolray Comfort so which one will you choose? Coolray is so tempting even the comfort variant but more expensive than Alsvin haha

Hi Kyle, what can you recommend the comfiest crossover or sedan below 850k? I know it's not good for fast corners but it's for the family cars.
