    For years I have used Turbo Tax (previously Can Tax etc). I have tied UFile once and didn't care for it. Last year I tried Wealthsimple Tax and found it very similar to Turbo Tax. I am also choosing Wealthsimple Tax this year. Good video review. I was wondering how expensive H&R Block would be. I have never used them, always completed my own taxes

    • @MoneyWithMark69

      H&R block was expensive and poor service IMO. Thanks for the feedback!

      Wealthsimple is cleaner UI compare to T.T. I used T.T since we installed it from the installation CD 🤪 then download install, then throw the web interface. Wealthsimple is better in my opinion.
      The biggest drain of energy is the CRA login. That is a terrible terrible problem for many people how insanely it is designed.

    Turbo Tax has the same features, but this year compared with the previous one, the got that mobile issue. But I filled my taxes with them (paying 40 bucks because of the T5).

    • @george.carlin
      @george.carlin 8 месяцев назад

      Wealthsimple does T5 no problem. Turbo became so pig, millions of silly questions takes longer to fill everything and UI is not as clean.

    RUclips won't let me edit so I have to post again. So I tried Wealthsimple and for some reason the refund was a little lower. One thing, when you file with WS at the end it makes it look like you have to pay. I don't see anything that says 'donation'. It's tricky but I'm assuming because it already confirmed it was filed that's where the donations part comes in.

    you forgot to mention that if you you have self employment income or property income you have pay $80 for Turbo tax which is a rip off, but in UFILE is included and you can file 4 returns plus one free for low income. For $24 Ufile is unbeatable. how about wealthsimple?
