I’m new to the Notary/NSA business and I’m so thankful I found your channel, this information is so valuable and helpful, I appreciate you and look forward to watching and learning through your channel
I just discovered your material and want to thank you for sharing your knowledge. I am in the process of starting a Notary business. I want to support you and pay it forward some day. Thank you!
Great video! This was so helpful. I have received my notary commission. Notary signing agent is what I want to focus on. This was the most informative video to help me get started. Thank you so much!
Hi Gia. I’ve done a few videos on business structure. (LLC, DBA, EIN, etc)It’s available to the notary community at www.thenotaryacademy.net I provide specific training there. It’s starts at just $1. Check it out
If you have a smart device like a Samsung tablet, then couldn't you use the camera of the tablet/ iPad to use the scanner mode and send it electronically?
Since I’m a realtor, I already have a lot of this equipment. But it’s good to know since I want to get my notary license also. Always helps to have multiple sources of income.
Thank you so much for your helpful information, I am already a notary and licensed as a signing agent now I just have to figure out my next steps. Any information you can offer would be wonderful. I forgot to say that I am scared to death to step out on this journey.
Do we need to buy ink to refill our stamps or are some stamps disposable? There are way too many options to choose from what I have seen and I also saw different label options. I'm going to have to watch a video just on how to take care of stamps. I'm also having a difficult time researching the cost of e and o insurance. I saw a bundle deal including things I already have and also saw a $2 a month deal but where are the options for purchasing 1 years worth? Is 3 year insurance a better idea? How much letter and legal paper should I buy at first and how many signings or weeks will the first batch last? How often do you order paper? Do you have it shipped to your house?
Here are the link for business shirts: www.queensboro.com/gq_?gclid=Cj0KCQjwteOaBhDuARIsADBqRejtCwU5-T-pePZvjGD1bLAdHf4fauCVy0DyKVtlZdxilIY0PmScEWMaAiErEALw_wcB
About printing, would it work if I had one single-drawer black-and-white laser printer printing on letter size paper and another single-drawer black-and-white laser printer with legal size paper? Or do you actually send one large print job at a time with some sections to be printed on shorter paper and other sections on longer paper in the same batch?
Yes the problem with that is, if one function of it malfunctions or doesn't work you usually can't use the whole thing. Can't miss out on appointments when the scanner is causing issues. There are lots of people that will use the combo though
I'm a SAHM interested in being a notery, but I have all 3 kids 7 and under with me all the time. How do I make this feasible for me? How do I started? Training or license first? Do I just focus on RON only for a time before adding ? ( I was thinking more medical as there is lots of real estate notaries in the Daytona Beach, FL area)
Great video! I am already taking some of your classes but I am going to have to join your mentorship class to get the confidence to step out there. I have the Brother 6200 printer also & a Mac Desktop computer, any suggestion on how to make it print mixed pages. I cannot figure out how to print letter & legal at the same time, (which is another reason I have not gotten out there) I am in the Allen, Tx area. I think we might be neighbors.....Lol
Thank you so much Amber for this updated supply video. I just watched the other one last week. How do we get a business e-mail and what service do you use for your business phone? I may use Google Voice, but wanted to know if there is a better (free or low cost) option.
Thank you, Amber, for the video. It really was very helpful and informative. You answered a lot of the questions that I was unsure about in starting my business. I'm look forward in watching other videos that you have created, so, I can be more efficient and more professional, successful in my business. I do have one question. I want to totally immerse myself into my notary business, however, I would like your advice or opinion on whether, it would be wise when starting your business to leave your day time part-time job so that you can be more available for your clients. Or should you work around your part-time job until you're business is fully secured and off the ground? The reason why I'm asking you this is because I had a physical labor job and by the time I get home I am exhausted mentally and physically. So your opinion would be very helpful in what would be best for running a startup business. Just wanted to thank you in advance for your advice or opinion in the question that I asked, it was very helpful.😃
Consider stacking multiple appointments back to back on your day off until you build your name and consistency with the agencies. Some agencies pay every 30 days. It's less stress when you have a steady paycheck coming in so you know how your bills are being paid

Hi Amber- Can you do a video discussing the LLC process for a Notary business and if it's needed in the beginning.
Hi Gia. I’ve done a few videos on business structure. (LLC, DBA, EIN, etc)It’s available to the notary community at www.thenotaryacademy.net I provide specific training there. It’s starts at just $1. Check it out
Wow, Gia, I was just getting ready to post this question.😊
If you have a smart device like a Samsung tablet, then couldn't you use the camera of the tablet/ iPad to use the scanner mode and send it electronically?
That way you save money on more bulky equipment and utilize your device more efficiently?
@@aaronautry1981 that wastes time. It’s business and a business expense.

What do you think about Quick books to track expensive ?
I think it's a good idea. I do use them for my business

Yes you can do this with a single tray. When you have w trays it's done for you and quicker without having to seperate
I want to know in branding/Marketing the business...Can an Independent Notary Business make 15 minute...30 minute and 60 minute commercials..
Your awesome thank you 🎉
So helpful
Thank You 😊
You're welcome 😊
Thank you! 💛
You're so welcome!
Hi Amber. Most people mention getting a 2 tray printer and then a scanner. Doesn't anyone try using an all-in-1 scanner and printer?
Yes the problem with that is, if one function of it malfunctions or doesn't work you usually can't use the whole thing. Can't miss out on appointments when the scanner is causing issues. There are lots of people that will use the combo though
No embosser?
Your inspiring!!!!
Notary vs notary signing agent is there is a difference?
Notary signing agent is a notary trained to notorize and help clients with loan documents.
Thats the largest notary seal I've seen yet.
Great information. Pls share which company you used for your logo.
I created it in Canva
What do you stock your bag with for NSA appointments?
Go search and check out my other video, what's in my notary bag
Im in TX what are tge specific items needed here in TX

Same here, I was wondering too.
Hello Amber, I am remote Notary too, what kind of device should I ours have for the signing?
Will there ever be a need for color printer or all in one?
No. Black and white is all you'll need
Hi Amber, thank you for the informative videos. What state are you in?
Thank you. I'm in Texas
Thanks,
You're welcome!
Ty🎉

Thank you so much Amber for this updated supply video. I just watched the other one last week. How do we get a business e-mail and what service do you use for your business phone? I may use Google Voice, but wanted to know if there is a better (free or low cost) option.
I use google domains and workspace for my website and email. I purchased a separate phone line for my business. Google voice drops many calls!
@@grittogrowth Thank you so much for replying 😊
You didn't mention an embosser....??
It's not required but very good to have
Can you do both? remote and physical ?
Yes! You'll want to check with your secretary of state to make sire RON is authorized in your state
I don’t want my personal address on business cards…
We recommend a business addresses. But on business cards you typically don't put an address on it. You would put website, phone number and email
Instead of a business shirt, I used Zazzle and created a badge that I can wear to appointments.
